Me and a friend have been thinking of an idea of a meta tracker type website. Here is the post that we made on reddit about it. What do you guys think of the idea and how could we get it off the ground.

If you use a build on ladder and lose to a strategy you're not familiar with, wouldn't you like a simple way to find Pro games where the person using your opening / transition won against someone using the opening / transition you just lost to?

This tool will allow us to do just that.

To do so, we need to record the openings and transitions for as many pro games as we can. Don't worry, you don't have to do it all by yourself (the more the better!) because we can all help out!

Here are the Forms currently available. Should cover the rest of IEM unless we get a PvP in the Finals! If we do I'll add another one.

This project is in development. These are test forms. The available options for openings and transitions are not set in stone! In fact, I personally don't know enough about the ZvP, PvP meta or the Z and P perspective of ZvT and PvT to know exactly what openings and transitions people use, and what to call them.

So, we need your help! Here's how: 1. If you want to help, message me! 2. If you have suggestions, message me or post them in any of the threads you see about this project. 3. Most Important: If you have suggestions for how we should classify "openings" and "transitions" please offer your suggestions. Things can be added to the list of options or reworded depending on how the community feels things should be referred to.

Please keep in mind the "openings" and "transitions" are supposed to be vague enough to encompass most games, but specific enough that people can look up scenarios in the database to find answers to the situations they struggle with. For example, if Innovation opens with Reaper FE against Zest in set 4 of their IEM match, and then gets an ebay for turrets and then gets Rax 2 and 3 before Factory, that's a Reaper FE into 3 Rax. As Day9 once suggested... convergence!
