So given that it's a Friday, and Monday is a public holiday, I figured it would be good to reunite with society for some quality ssbm time. So I drove from a town called Dookie, a place with 200 or so people if people invite all there relatives up to stay, back down to Melbourne to meet up with some uni friends to play smash.
Great, it's a relaxing car drive, not too far, and I love getting bodied by people better then me.
In any event, driving at 110 km/h down the Hume, when a kangaroo entered side stage and completely totalled the left hand side of my car, made it un-roadworthy, and in general just acted like a pain in the ass. I ended up enjoying a train ride to parkville to play at the semi regular smash tourney that some friends from melbourne uni hold, where I proceeded to get bodied and drop out extremely early in the tournament.
All in all a pretty terrible Friday afternoon.

What kind of car do you drive? Did it clear the hood or properly fuck everything up?

I drive a ford courier 2003 model (absolute height of sophistication I am), it hit the front left side of the car and did some sort of damage to the circuitry as none of the indicators work, the various meters in the car all dont work, and only a few of the lights work. Shoutout to RACV being prompt as hell and only making me wait for 40 minutes or so.

Brutal that you had to put it down. I am always curious about cars abroad, the Ford Courier as such was never released in the states, or was rebranded for Australia, looks a bit like a Ranger though. Rebranding is funny business.

Kangaroos are a huge problem in Australia. The government pays people to go out and shoot them by the hundreds...cry for his car, not the kangaroo

Not all that active, currently living up near Shepparton so I don't get to come down as often as I'd like. I'll say something in the melee thread if I'm going to Bam, but I dunno if I will.
