So I just realized that I have been playing SC2 in the wrong resolution for about 2 years now, I have a 16 : 10 monitor and I have been playing in 16 : 9 for years, everything was so zoomed in, and now I can see so much more on the screen, it is amazing, and I think it is going to help me play better.

I kind of forgot because I always play in windowed full screen, put it on full screen and everything is smaller and ' normal ' , I dunno how I can get it to be in windowed full screen in the correct resolution. Any advice would be great, but I thought it'd be funny to share with everyone how insanely fucking stupid I was.

Wrong resolution for years, still top masters though, so maybe thats a good sign.

Feel free to laugh your ass off , because I did and other friends did too lol...just kind of surprised no one noticed on my stream.

I will be streaming, appreciate all support, trying to go for GM this season.

Windowed fullscreen isn't the same as fullscreen, which is why you can't change the gamma or resolution settings, and also why fullscreen tab isn't instant. If you want to play in 16: 9 with windowed fullscreen you'll have to change your monitor's resolution in windows before you start playing.

I'm running a 1680x1050 resolution on a 16 ; 10 wide screen monitor, the only resolution that works is the native one, I dunno why but now with xsplit u can stream in full screen mode in sc2, so its not a problem I Just found out, I play Zerg!

I remember watching Snute playing with 4:3 on what looked like a charity-donated monitor resolution, and it didn't seem all that bad.
