How tough is it to come back after 2+ yrs?

guitarizt United States1492 Posts November 11 2014 18:26 GMT #1 I was roughly a top 500 masters zerg a long time ago, but I quit playing 2+ yrs ago when hots was still in closed beta. I saw pokebunny came back after a year and hit gm. Is it fairly easy to pick up the game again, or is everyone awesome now? The zerg help me thread seems way better now than it used to be. The new maps seem better, but I've watched less than a dozen games the past two years.

Obviously there are some restraints and features that I'd rather be without, but I find that playing SC2 (I do it rarely and haven't for a while) is somewhat less frustrating now than in 2012. If you really enjoyed the game back then, you'll probably enjoy it now and getting back to roughly where you were in terms of skill shouldn't be too difficult.

The question is: Will you be where you were mentally? :D I just came back after basically 2 years from where I was playing everyday. Don't have as much time anymore or willingness to stay up all night

guitarizt United States1492 Posts November 12 2014 05:27 GMT #5 Thanks, I'm installing it now. I'd be ecstatic to get back to masters in 400 games or less. I've been playing age of kings online on voobly the past few months so hopefully the mechanics are still there for sc2.
