Although, if there are no mind games, couldn't that be used as a mind game?

Oh sure, both players pretended that this was going to be a fun, clean match as they exchanged friendly banter concerning their favorite people to give shoutouts to.
However, it's not long before Lorning's true intentions are revealed!!
GumBa scans the four gate and prepares ample defense, but does not repair with SCVs when Lorning attacks. He nearly loses a bunker.
Lorning practices his force field placement and unit positioning. The advantage of playing the first game of a series like this is that you can warm up, if you haven't been able to play recently.
However, in doing so, Lorning accidentally managed to break into GumBa's base.
A ferocious battle ensued and both sides took heavy losses. I expected both of them to rebuild a bit before going at it again, but Lorning surprised everyone, even me.
I don't even know what's going on here.
Wait.. wait… I think I see it now. Yes. GumBa is definitely dead.
However, GumBa is literally FanTaSy, so he kept rallying his barracks away from the stalkers to try to gather up enough units to hold.
Lorning decided to take away GumBa's only potential advantage besides tech.
GumBa is still trying to micro tiny groups of bio, this time against zealots.
Lorning piles on the BM/tilt to gain an edge in the rest of the series.
Lorning therefore takes the first map… with a 4-gate, on a jungle map, against a player that was trying to play economically… this seems familiar.
Anyway, GumBa's original plan seems to have not worked out. Can he adjust it in time to win the series?

The counter to 4 gate is to expand really fast and then just make a bunch of bunkers.

Those SCVs aren't doing anything...

That's right, he pulled the boys in PvT. Bet you didn't see that coming.
