how does you statement make sense? She was fast, so no shame? If she would have been slow and he would have been slower, that would have been a shame? Because he would have lost to a woman (read: per se less strong, sporty person)? If she was he, would that still be a shame?b

"you play like a girl" is sexist. as well as finding shame in losing to a girl. That's my point and I stand for it. If you don't see it, we can agree to disagree...

However it's really hard to say if gender separated leagues are really required on a pro level. One example esports can learn from is I guess Scarlett in SC2. She was on the same level as the best male players and had some really entertaining games. Thus I wouldn't mind to see some female players or even teams in dota 2.

I'd prefer chess approach: there's unisex category and female category as long as it is needed.

Funny stuff. Dr. Dumptruck, I find your posting interesting. I've thought many of the same things you do. We do see more and more women, however slowly, beginning to attempt training seriously in a variety of games and actually put up a good fight (MsSpyte coming to the top of my head). Perhaps as time goes on the numbers will level out a bit. I've always enjoyed esports for the simple notion of equality they offer - I have very little interest in seeing something like men vs women boxing any more than I want to see a football team with 350-pound+ linemen going up against a female football team. Yet, games like Starcraft and Dota offer even playing-fields; inclusion abounds.

I can see the troll from a mile, but it's just not funny or interesting. Is there a point trying to be made here? It's lost between the rather poorly worded sentences and the lack of focus.
