http://www.xfire.com/tournament/1255 This was MirG's first Open, played on May 31. Not only did Sjaak win, but he convincingly defeated both Hack AND Panic to do it. (2-0 Hack and 3-1 Panic) So honestly, his performance in DreamHack Summer may have not even been an outlier (except for maybe beating Hyun, but beating HuK doesn't surprise me at all.) One thing's for certain, he's definitely a player to watch. This concludes the ramblings of an everyday SC2 noob. ~    | ||

any mid gm has atleast taken some games of top gm players on ladder, so why not in some crappy tournement. | ||

Because even the top foreigners can hardly take games off Koreans. Mid gm vs. top gm ladder games is quite a bit different from korean professional gamers in a tournament setting and bo3 series. | ||
