But you have to realize that with some diseases, you are going to be miserable. There's no getting around it. Pain meds can get you addicted and (believe it or not) in a worse condition in less than a year. Especially morphine. They can also interfere and combine with the other drugs you are taking (you mentioned one) and screw you up in that way. I'd be feeling just as terrible as you were I'm sure but still, show some respect for the nurses/doctors. Mothers go through childbirth with horrible pain still to this day for a reason. Do not demand drugs vehemently, just keep telling the doctors/nurses if you're suffering. It's their area of expertise, not yours. | ||

He would have been fine after his procedure if not for that, and they did not do anything about it. And then when he needed a second procedure done, they refused to give him a different anesthesia! Hospitals are scary places because they basically have all the control... I am glad that you were not left alone during this and you get well soon! | ||
