I was walking down the street in the evening and saw a bank note on the ground, actually two bank notes. 200 roubles (roughly 4 Euros), not that much, but at least something. I can buy 6,67 liters of gas here or milk, bread, curds and three bananas (info just for comparison of prices). I was standing there, looking at the money and smiling. I was questioning myself if it was karma or just coincidence.

I prefer to earn money with my skills rather than getting it out of nowhere like lottery or luck at gambling... You can say gambling is a skill, but I don't have it.

I looked around, there was nobody in the radius of approx. 100 meters, so I picked it up... I was going to buy some flowers and give them to a random girl, but i didn't come across a flower shop or meet a girl on my way. It is pretty unmanned outdoors when it is -8C on windy evening in April.

I think I'm going to do a small good deed with this small sum. Any suggestions?

Hot meal for a homeless person is always the way to go. Especially in that weather.

Wait, so this is basically the equivalence of me walking down the street and seeing a random five dollar bill laying on the ground? How is that in any way worth making a big deal about?

If you do something interesting/unique/hilarious with the 4 euros, by all means make a blog about it then. But at this point it's like someone makes a blog:

I woke up and walked into my kitchen. I noticed I left a fork sitting on the counter. For a good 15 minutes I thought about what the significance of that was while I stood there, smiling. Could this be karma? Eventually, I decided it was just a coincidence and put it away. Think of all the food I will use this fork to eat.

This will be a day I never forget.

I'm just that kind of a guy who hasn't been swallowed by everyday routine and still can rejoice every little moment of his life. But I see your point, I'll try to make more meaningful blogs in the future.

I'll donate this sum (+smth from me) to the local animal shelter

He's asking what good deed he should do with the money, not whether or not you would do a good deed with the money should you have found it. If you have no ideas, which you said you didn't, then what is your purpose?

This is ironic considering the fact that you gave him exactly 0 ideas either and you, along with half of the other posts in this thread, appear to have just as purposeless of a post as well + Show Spoiler +
(the real deed recommended was a meal for a homeless person)
. The only purpose I see of your post is to be an dick, so what's your problem?

If you have a problem with my posting feel free to use the report function, because I don't see where you're going with this.

Something for a homeless person is always a good idea as someone else said above. It's a small price for possibly making someone's week/month/even year. I'm from new york so there are plenty of homeless to help.

I was just pointing out how the op asked a question and you answered a different question. The op was talking about himself and you wanted to talk about you for some reason. it isnt ironic that i didnt offer advice because i wasnt talking to op or addressing him, i was addressing you.

He asked for suggestions for what to do with the money and I said that I would just put it in my wallet and use it like any other money... My suggestion was indirectly saying that's what he should do if you weren't able to comprehend that. How in the world could that have come across as wanting to talk about myself?
it isnt ironic that i didnt offer advice because i wasnt talking to op or addressing him, i was addressing you.

Doesn't matter that you were "just pointing out how the op asked a question and [I] answered a different question." If you wanted to address me about something that doesn't concern anyone else that's what a PM is for. But instead, you having posted in this thread about nothing concerning the OP, indeed makes it ironic.

It just seems to me like you're trying to pick a useless fight with a random person over a harmless post. Way to derail the blog.
