ATC POWER RANK

DISCLAIMER: I know I know its not done but I ran out of time and I am lazy I will try to add teams before the first match etc (so basically tomorrow is speed writing time) and I am still considering placements. NOTE: Some teams will have more text due to me know shit all about others. All winrates taken from Aligulac

Hey guys! GumBa here wanting to help abit with hype for atc!!! Its important to note that I may have grammar mistakes etc and this is all my opinon enjoy!
Ahhhh. Another season of ATC awaits us as the premier foreign teamleague is back for its third season! After two highly entertaining seasons full of amazing games the third iteration of this beloved league is back and promises to be perhaps the best one yet with 12 teams a fantasy league ( shoutout to SinCitta) and tons of your favourite players
THE RANKING

#1 Team Acer [image loading]

The winners of last season are back and ready to defend their title of their namesake tournament , and are my personal favourites to take it all again. Featuring an unchanged lineup with no new addition or releases over the offseason acers roster of star studded players still look incredibly formidable.
Acer is on those teams in this leauge that profits hugely from their top heavy roster and is not known for their depth, now to take a look at their players!
(Z)ParanOid- Winrates: ZvZ :44.52%
ZvT:42.80%
ZvP:50.52%
Acers perhaps least known player (DarkHydra is incative) The Pole doesnt have the most impressive stats and is not the most fearsome player on acers roster . Nevertheless he could be used to snipe foreigners from slightly weaker teams in a MU like ZvP but with not alot of stats to go by I cant really say much about him :/
(Z)Bly- Winrates: ZvP: 60.93%
ZvZ: 55.54%
ZvT: 52.35%
The Ukranian Zergs most known feature is his ability to play bat shit insane and allin and beat ANYONE including top koreans such as Dear. Bly has shown an affinity for ZvP and can be used to beat basically any foreigner and even snipe some of the stronger Koreans. So watch out for this guys crazy builds :D
(Z)Scarlett- Winrates : ZvP :64.47%
ZvZ :61.84%
ZvT :62.90%
Touted as some as the best foreigner Scarlett comes in with some very strong winrates with a special affinity for ZvT. She does have a knack for losing to allins abit with some lackluster scouting but once it goes into a macro game you better be prepared! Favoured against most foreigner and able to take on the Koreans Scarlett is one to look out for!

(Z)Nerchio- Winrates: ZvP:65.05%
ZvZ:68.11%
ZvT:67.42%
King Artur as he has been affectionatly called sometimes is one of the most solid foreign zerg. Sporting top winrates in all match ups in the foreign scene Nerchio is capable of beating anyone but he has shown some trouble vs koreans recently.

(T)MMA- Winrates: TvZ:63.66%
TvP:63.33%
TvT:60.46%

MMA the man the myth the legend. One of the most iconic and beloved players in sc2 has been at the top and at the bottom in his career. But one thing as remained he is a teamleague monster he has 3 GSTL titles and an ATC and seems to be acers rival TL biggest kryptonite with 3 allkill against them. A monster in TvZ and TvT he has also gotten a much improved TvP over the last months. Favoured against almost all players except the absolute top of the leauge MMA will continue to show why he is a beast this season.

(T)INnoVation- Winrates: TvZ:68.66%
TvP:65.00%
TvT:61.64%
Innovation... The first of what I like to dub Super aces in this League this guy is an absolute monster. Tip top in all match ups and an absolute beast in teamleauges he has had arguably the most sucess in teamleauges in sc2 with a PL title GSTL title and a ATC title contributing to his teams sucess immensly each time while being the ace and showing clutch perfomances. Many are scared that being on a foreign team has weakend him but fear not a resurgence is upon us! Qualifiying for Code A once again he will dominate this seaons once more! All he needs to do is be careful for allins

All in all I think acer will defend the crown bring it Zealously!

#2 Mouz[image loading]

Team Mousesports had a relativly quiet 2013 but they are back and ready to challenge the crown for best foreign team! With the signings of Dear and Starbuck they have nabbed themselves a super ace and a foreign talent plus with the resurgance of Vortix and the ever solid Hasuobs and the terran talent Heromarine Mouz are looking to win it all this season!
(Z)Starbuck- Winrates: ZvP:66.45%
ZvT:61.48%
ZvZ:66.91%
Mouzes newest recruit is the young Slovenian Zerg Starbuck. Showing highly creative games and immense talent this guy just fits Mouz in a way. Capable of beating any foreigner and even taking games of koreans with his wacky play (wsc 2014 s1 g2 vs MMA) players like Starbuck are incredibly dangerous in Teamleagues and will probaly be used to snipe alot. Watch out for this guy!

(T)HeRoMaRinE- Winrates: TvP:59.45%
TvT:57.93%
TvZ:57.33%
Germanys youngest prospect is the talented and solid Heromarine! Coming in with very solid winrates and being their only terran expect Heromarine to come out quite abit! His biggest weaknesses are him still being in school and not being quite on the level to beat good koreans but against any foreiger? Watch out for him.

(P)HasuObs- Winrates: PvZ:57.06%
PvP:57.64%
PvT:61.69%
Hasuobs. The rock solid foundation of Mouz for years and will continue to be in the forseeable future. An incredibly solid macro oriented player Hausobs will be pulling his weight in this leauge capable of beating even top koreans on a good day. Just one word of waring when hasu plays make sure you have time! :D

(Z)VortiX- Winrates : ZvP:65.32%
ZvT:66.15%
ZvZ:62.25%
Ahhh Vortix. Vortix may very well be the best foreigner currently and this is without bs. Dominating performances in Vasacast invitational and WSC EU beating players like MMA , Mvp , Jjakji and Stardust support this claim. Favoured agains most foreigners and capable of beating all koreans vortix could wreck face this atc.

(P)Dear- Winrates : PvP:56.30%
PvZ:67.24%
PvT:63.03%
Dear is the second super ace in this leauge. Sitting at insane winrates in all MU with his only weakness being PvP there are few players I would rate capable of beating Dear. Some were scared after shaky perfomances after joining Mouz but his play In Iem Katowice and GSL ro16 reaffirms my faith in his ability. While he may have lost he still showed insanly good play and Dear will be looking to lead his team to victory in ATC.

3# MyInsanity[image loading]

Ok I am going to be honest mYi relies completly on Jjakji and Stardust with maybe a win or two by their slew of Foreigners. Now this works in ATC due to the ace rule and allkill format so I will focus on Jjakji and Stardust sry guys

(P)StarDust- Winrates: PvP:68.36%
PvT:67.76%
PvZ:64.09%

Stardust , Trolldust or Cheesedust. It doesnt matter what you call him or that you dont understand how he wins cause thats what he does. Win. Favoured against nearly all foreigners with allkill potential and can snipe anyone with his allin builds stardust is incredibly dangerous and if he doesnt manage to clean a team up then you send in.....

(T)jjakji- Winrates: TvZ:67.18%
TvP:67.05%
TvT:62.30%
Another one of the super aces! Jjakji since his move to europe has enjoyed sucess in tournaments with high place finishes domination in online cups and qualifiers and an increase to his fanbase. Strong enough to take on anyone and beat them Jjakji is a strong contender for best player in atc and also carried mYi into atc in the first place. So in short you wanna beat mYi? Good luck beating Jjakji.

#4 Axiom Esports [image loading]

Here come the koreans! Totalbiscuits team were hard to decide where to put per depth I actually think they are no.1 But I feel they lack the super ace potential that can go so far in allkill formats!
(Player bios coming)

Feel free to comment and give opinons of the rest of the rankings and if someone knows his way around chinese scene or col-dig please pm or post here please!

I'm okay with this so far. I think Kane deserves a mention for MYI, and TL had better be number 5 or you're crazy . Should be a fun season

Don't lie to yourself, Liquid #1
Seriously though, I'm not sure how well mouz will do, they could win the whole thing or flop. Dear might be playing a lot in GSL next season so...

Yoe should be #5 at least imo because reviving San makes them a really strong team atm plus if Leenock shows up in decent form they could be scary. I mean TaeJa and HerO are good but San is just playing really really well lately

Ive got a rough draft of the remainig teams TL and Wolves are really hard to compare and Millenium and EG are another tough conundrum xD Will hopefully be done before the first match! And sorry if my grammar etc are cancerous for the eyes Im no TL writer xD

I agree with Acer as number one, but I think the rest is hard to say. For example EG with Jaedong and JYP is just as strong as mYi with Jjakji and Stardust in this allkill format. For TL it all depends on what Taeja will do. Axiom might be the strongest team if Impact becomes that super ace, we'll see. Nice ranking so far .
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

It's actually beautiful how stacked ATC is this season. I agree that Acer is the favorite simply because of how dominantly they won (they are currently on a 11 match winstreak).

Mouz is scary because they now have Dear (who is mortal, but still deadly), and a resurgent Vortix. mYi and Axiom are also pretty scary. I'm biased, but I think Axiom should do well (they always perform very well in teamleagues), and many of their players have been out of the limelight. Out of all the teams, Axiom has the deepest team (Heart, Ryung, Crank, Alicia, and Impact) and can fill the lineup with solid Koreans.

I'd put Axiom either at 2 or 3 due to their depth and racial balance (a strong player of each race).

I'd of thought Liquid would've cracked the top 4 with Snute's current form and the recent acquisitions of Bunny and Mana. *shrug*

don't watch ATC much until the finals enough to say this with confidence though. Taeja is also looking like he might be serious about quitting so that could hurt them too I suppose.

eh it's kind of like you said though with TaeJa. He's going to retire soon and he's not exactly playing his best in recent tournaments although he's definitely still a formidable player. However with the revive rule Super Aces mean even more in this team league and if TaeJa isn't on point while others are playing better it's pretty hard to get rated pretty highly imo

Taeja was Liquid's saving grace in these tournaments. HerO's good, but he's never attained the level of dominance that Taeja has, especially in Teamleagues. Having depth is nice, but it doesn't mean much unless it is meaningful depth (players who can stop opposing aces or snipe opponents), and I'm not sure if Bunny or Mana are solid enough to stop an opposing ace from going on a rampage.

I wrote one too but unfortunately, few people here will be able to read it as it's in french.
