I don't visit r/nofap so I don't know the culture there, but personally I can say that it is making me more social, due to creating a sexual demand by not fapping. The body is smart, if you reward yourself for staying in with fapping, the endorphins are going to train you to keep doing the same. When you tell your body that doing the same thing is not producing the same results (by not fapping), your body looks for that high someplace else. That is the desired effect I want to see. How much of it is placebo? I can't tell you for certain, everyones experience is different, but for me I am starting to feel a change. GENERAL RESPONSE TO GYM CRITICISM I am proud of my accomplishments at the gym, which occurred before my decision to not fap. My judging of my performance at the gym is subjective, and as such you might not agree with it. However no matter how you feel about how I accomplished the gains, I feel amazing about it. I don't want this blog to be focused on the gym, with my log of no-fap as a side, rather I want the focus to be my no-fap decision and how it has effected me, with the gym being a selected area of intrigue for study. As such I am using my gains as a baseline for my growth in the next few weeks. This will be my last response to the gym, I don't want to derail my own blog any more. Next blog entry coming soon. Tonight seems uneventful, Wednesday and Thursday I am going out and hitting the gym. Expect the next entry sometime along those two days | ||
