what about Z1? No release date yet but we are expecting to see it before end of this year. Monster spec with awesome build quality.
if you are only looking between these two, I would recommend Note 3 though, all the note series had been pretty well performed (my mum and dad are both using note 2)

Been using a moto x for a bit, if the nexus 5 comes with the motorola chip that enables those features, 100% get that

Samsung Galaxy S4 is still pretty gd tho. Note 3 should be great.

having the exact same dilemma as you. Also previously used the S2. Am on the Nexus 4 now tho. I'm leaning towards the n5 simply because i've fallen in love with nexus phones since my n4.

Wait for the Nexus 5 before making a choice, it could turn out to be worth it!
Got me a cheap Nexus 4 because I live on teh cheap.

I hated the Note 2. Screen too small to take notes which is what it's designed to do. Also capacitive stylus technology is still worse than fingers 90-95% of the time.
The PDA died with Palm.
I've never tried the Nexus 5, but the Nexus 7 line was great. It knows how to zoom into areas on web pages and seemed to start off with better apps and a design than the Note 2.

im still using a Galaxy S1, with some tweaking and the cyanogen mod its still working fine... altho i am tempted by the 200€ N4.

Keyword: eventually. But that's not even true, because by the time it gets version "X", it will no longer be the latest version. Probably.

My suggestion is Nexus 5 , easy to work on wireless charger , quite convenient

I'm not sure about Note 3 battery life, I use Nexus 5 and always kill power by music and movies, so I bought WIWOFIT wireless charger form Amazon, it works well with my phone, just put Nexus 5 on it and begin charging !

It's almost one month since I bought WIWOFIT Wireless Charger from Amazon, really very nice ! so, I'm gonna buy one Wireless Car Charger of same brand for car use when I drive, now I don't need to worry about power problem.
