A secret evil organization in the year 2015 has attained massive power and influence. They are rumored to be using this power to stamp out any brilliance, talent, creativeness in the world through the employment super villains such as "The Casualizer". This company is known as "blizzard" and has been slowly brainwashing the public into "expecting less and not having to try hard to get things".
A government funded task force known as S.C.I.L (skill) Societal Competency Investigation League is tasked with the job of following up on claims of "casualization" that has been happening for the past 20 years. This group is often times ridiculed by the public who think its impossible for such things to be real. Why would someone WANT to make things super easy, boring, and uncreative?
S.C.I.L. believes "blizzard" has already attempted to casualize sports such as basketball with "bikini babe basketball" and gaming with "cell phone games such as angry birds" and it doesnt stop there. S.C.I.L will stop at nothing to bring this evil cooperation to justice no matter how much wool they are pulling over the publics eyes
wish i was good at drawing comics, would love to make this into 1 lol. there is so many funny things blizzard has done that can be made even more stupid and funny in an unrealistic setting

There's actually a discussion to be had on whether being more mainstream is detrimental to game output, this isn't it though.
My perspective on the 'casual' debate is its the fault of devs for underestimating their audience, blame them. You see the same in film or music industries.
