I find though that once I get partially into something, I really enjoy it, just have to force yourself to get into something. Remember, its dedication, not motivation

Another possibility is boredom. Your brain may be needing more exercise than you're giving it with screen time. Going for a walk, making something with your hands or a good face to face conversation might help.

It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!

this is a chrome extension that limits the amount of time per day you let yourself browse certain websites. as a result, you'll automatically start doing the other stuff you wanna do. at least that's the effect it had on me.

While sitting down all day in front of a computer might not FEEL like a lot of activity, your body still tires out from just...sitting there. I know it sounds a bit counterintuitive, but you could just be tired. Like, really tired. I suggest going outside and taking a walk. Take a break from technology. It sounds like you need a change of pace, and just being outside after normally being indoors a majority of the time can do wonders.

So how you should fix this with basic stuff: Start working out/swimming (or other activities, but you should do even if you don't feel so, you will feel the difference) Go out, get some tanned skin, don't crave in your cave (vitamin D is essential, gives you much more energy) Be present, live in the moment (don't overthink things. "What should I do now?" "Is it the right thing to do?" Stop this b*llshit and do it!) Get enough sleep on a regular basis Eat healthy Make a plan every night before the next day, so you don't have to worry what to do and you just do it.

It just started during the summer and most likely it's due to not having enough things to do... I have a job but, sadly way to few shifts. Judging by what I see in the comments and how I feel I suppose it's just boredom. + this thread motivated me to start reading again. Guess that's the power of talking about things. :D
