So the past few days we´ve been focusing almost exclusively on not forgetting our Supply Depos. It looks like I`m averaging around 1 min per game now after 2 days instead of the previous horrendously bad 3-4 min in some cases where the games go a bit crazy early on.

Now I´m noticing a new flaw instead that will take priority during the next practice session: Remembering Supply Depots seems to have caused me to get a bit sloppy with non-stop production of SCVs at a two base economy, so when my third goes up I suddenly can´t support my usual amount of production. Delaying my attack timings, or making them weaker if I choose to push out anyway - causing completely unnecessary losses.

Solution? I will be reminding myself of this new concern at the start of every new game until SCV production is back to where it´s supposed to be. Possibly ask my extremely support girlfriend to record another sound bite that I can loop during games (Like this one I´m going to play every other session with until my macro is perfect: https://soundcloud.com/monomentaria/monomentaria-supply-helper-sc2), It was one of the first thing I put a lot of time and effort into actually "mastering" in Sc2 after switching from Wc3, I wish I knew why it´s suddenly a flaw in my play again. Off day perhaps?

Time to analyze some of my games and find out exactly when I stop SCV production. Check if there is something distracting me at that point or if I simply stop too soon thinking I´ve built more than I actually have already.

Broken microphone so todays games are without commentary until either a sponsor comes through or I can scrape together enough money for a new one myself. But here are todays games thus far for anyone who wants to skim through them and check on my progress!

Edit: Please excuse any annoying sound that my microphone makes for one of the games in, I wasn´t aware it was doing that until someone pointed it out in the chat and I could fix it. Skip/mute those games if there are more.

Was it definitely the worker amount that dropped, or did you maybe spend more minerals on units because you were supply blocked a lot less?

That´s actually a very fair point, my production used to go more in "waves", sort of like a Zerg. I´d realize I was supply blocked, cancel queued units. Naturally the minerals would start to accumulate, while being blocked I´d spend those resources upgrades and adding more production. And when the supply block was lifted I´d churn out a ton of units and SCVs.

Now that I´m actually macroing more like a Terran, and lately have been trying to make sure I keep up CONSTANT unit production in the raxes I have. I do recall there being plenty of times where I first produced bio and then simply couldn´t afford to produce SCVs out of all orbitals right away, and if something would happen immidiately after I´d forget to queue those SCVs when the money did come in. The more I think about it the more I think you´re right, because as I said, it FELT like I´d produced more a lot SCVs, likely because normally I would have, all those times I prioritized units added up over the course of the game. It may of course be a combination of both, the constant mental reminder to prevent supply blocks may have hurt the mental clock and my SCVs production muscle memory just slightly.

I might just need to find a better balance between production facilities, unit production and SCV production until I´m walking that line better than I am right now.
