Hey guys!
You are new to this blog or missed the last couple of posts?
If you are new you should check out my first entry in which I explain the concept of this blog.
If you missed the last few entries just go to my blog and check out the missed posts.
You should also make sure to follow our Twitch.tv channel as we are streaming our practices from Sunday to Thursday at 7pm British Time.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about the last two days? Wow..Just wow!
I think never ever in my life did I have so many ups and downs in such a short time.
Everything started off with our preperations for Starladder and a big clash of forces in our team.
Over the course of the last week or 1 1/2 weeks we fell into a really really deep low, which we later found out was caused by too much seriousness. Going more and more into try-hard mode we lost more and more games to misscommunication and little arguements during the games.
Last day before Starladder arrived and therefore also our last practice before the third group stage.
Again we lost all of our games and eventually a fight broke out. Chippy having a bad game on the Wisp caused me to make a stupid statement.
I commented on Chippy's play having only good intentions in mind but obviously it all went wrong and after about a minute we both shouted at each other causing Chippy to leave our teamspeak and the game.
Later on he decided to leave the team which left me shocked to the bones. He promised to play the Starladder matched with us so we did not give up the hope of him changing his mind and waited for the next day.
When I first came onto the ts and joined Chippy and Beana I did not quite know how to behave so I mostly listened to them and waited for our first game to start.
I went to sleep eventually (yes at 4pm) and slept until about 10 minutes before our first match.
Unfortunately we got completely destroyed. Even though that might sound weird now I still considered it a good game because Chippy and me got along quite well. The whole situation made me feel really uncomfortable so I did not speak at all. But hey..We did not fight..Success, right?!
After the games we all stayed online and played some mid only and 1 vs 3 while I was managing the whole game organisation of the other games.
I found out rather quickly that we would receive a free win for the first match so we played some more games and just chilled out until 8 to wait for the next scheduled match.
5 minutes before it was supposed to start their captain told me they could not make it so we got another free win and therefore advanced to the next round of Starladder. (We really must have had a hard first group..Stages 2 and 3 were like super easy..)
We started practice and again lost the first match to a brain fart draft by me which resulted in a Puck, SD and Naix for them..Well..Whatever :D
For the second game we decided to win so by some intelligent banning we got our hands on KOTL, PL and Dark Seer.
And now starts the funny part!
The only thing I am going to tell you is that this was probably the funniest game I've ever played.
And I also put my cam on for the stream..Shit..I look like some madman when I concentrate :D
But yeah...If you want to know what was going on, just check out the stream video starting from one hour and enjoy the show.
The first 15 minutes or so of the game are not too interesting but then you will definitely laugh your ass off while I switch between try-hard mode and outbursts of joy.
So all in all we had a lot of fun in this game and it actually reunited us again.
We're now looking forward to more and more successful practices and strive for improvement to get as far as possible in this little tournament called Starladder.
I am happy to be part of that team and I want to thank you:
Long,Robin,Chippy and Beana, we finally know who we are
