So I've always wanted to make a dream journal, but I'm too lazy to get out a notebook and write them out. I also spent obscene amounts of time on TL. Killing two birds with one stone.

I was sitting in the trunk of a hatchback, and the only two seats in the car were the driver's seat and the passenger's seat. I was sitting there, and it became harder and harder to breathe. It wasn't that I forgot how to breathe, it was more that, despite how deep my breaths were, I wasn't getting any oxygen. My lungs began to burn and I opened up the trunk to step outside. I still couldn't get any air. Then I woke up.

Yeah, are you going through some stressful things in life right now? People often have dreams of their finger nails or teeth falling out when they are really stressed. I believe the same goes for being trapped or having trouble with mundane tasks like breathing or moving around.

Last night I had a dream where I was playing Magic the Gathering. Somehow my opponent got a shit ton of creatures out on the second turn and just overwhelmed me.

Yeah just a bit. Undergraduate graduation coming up, moving to the Philippines for medical school in about a month. :o

I had some other dreams that were a little bit scarier but normally my dreams are pretty interesting/average/not that weird? I dunno I'm not really into the whole "whoa what does this dream really mean" and more of a "wow that was fucking weird brains are crazy" kind of thing.

I've always wanted to learn how to play MtG. My only experience with card games is Yu-Gi-Oh.

it's likely you were actually suffocating in your sleep. i have sinus issues and they tend to close up when i lie down -- i often have dreams of drowning, suffocating, being strangled etc. and then i wake up. i started using breatheright strips to open my sinuses at night and it changed my life.

i think it's normal to happen every once and a while but if you get a lot of these dreams or you wake up with headaches and sleep doesn't feel refreshing then you might want to check if you have sinus problems, sleep apnea or something.

Do you drive too much instead of walking for fresh air and cardiovascular exercise? What stands out to you about hatchbacks in comparison to other vehicles? are they more sporty?

Oh recently I had a dream I was trying to play StarCraft and my pinky finger was freezing cold. I could hardly feel my pinky, or move it, except there was a sharp stinging pain. My pinky was all white and looked like it was going to suffer from frostbite. Later I awoke in the night to find I was sleeping on my hand and my pinky was all wretched to the side. It hurt quite a bit, but I moved it out in the open and felt blood rush into it.

Actually I do have sinus issues! But this is the first time I've ever had a dream like this.

Idk, I exercise pretty regularly. I don't have a hatchback, I drive a 2009 four-door civic. :l I don't think there's a lot of meaning here, MadProbe probably nailed it.

I had a dream recently that I was forced to continually eat pancakes, or else Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man would shoot me with a death ray. Which meant the entire dream was pretty much just me eating pancakes with Doc Ock yelling at me.

I skipped breakfast that morning.

Dreams be dreams dude, dreams can tell us a lot, but mostly they can tell us whether or not we want to face reality. I think in this case, you have something large to face.
