Yeah, I am mainly gearing this toward new StarCraft players or those who want to get out of Bronze-Gold hell. It's a mainstream gaming site, so I have to also focus on the stuff that will get people watching, the news, the sexy, and the opinions.

I'm taking notes based on the comments on the video and here as to what I can do to improve. Thanks!

Correct, no genuine nude or topless content of me exists. The nice thing about TL blogs and Twitch is that I can just ban people who attempt to spread misinformation or slander me. Also, Babcock is my family surname. Models do not use "stage names", typically.

OT: I'm surprised you didn't try this earlier. You have very smooth delivery and I'd guess you have previous experience with talking in front of a camera. Maybe you just did a lot of takes though. :p

My main complaint was the writing in the first part. You repeated "not up to par" a few times and used "did not do well" to describe commercial success. After that, it improved as you moved into a more conversational and relaxed style.

I think you need to refine your style more as you are mixing personal commentary with news. The fact that you are standing up and have a fancy schmancy background makes me think that you are a news show like REMAG, however, you frequently also discuss your personal opinions in a casual way, making me think that you are an editorialist like Dodger. I think you can do both in the same show, but you need to make it more clear when you are shifting from news reporting to editorializing. I think Force does an excellent job with this, using cutaways to video for news and him with a real life background for his commentary.

It's difficult to please all side on this one. Zoomin wants me to freely talk about things that interest me and give my opinions on them, but then people tell me only to report my opinion. At the same time, people are giving me flack because I sound too much like I am reading a script and accuse me of not actually knowing or having an opinion on gaming.

The "not doing well" thing is mean to be factual, actually. Although Tomb Raider sold a shit ton, it wasn't up to what they were banking on, which is why the CEO stepped down. I think the games were great.

the biggest problem with the graphic improvement imo, is that it is gonna make the lack of AI improvement and the poor physic body engine in most games.
Crysis 3 for example, a complete tech demo fancy game but showing the flaw of a poor AI.
The death motion of the enemies are always extremely poor rigdoll effect. They cannot rely on motion capturing for all the motions of a game.

This problem will get worse in open world games like skyrim. The awkwardness of the AI will just keep breaking the realism of the game.

even in the MGSV video, we can see the really good animation and texture on character's face but when it turned to the game play, snake had little "weight" to him, he looked as if he was floating. Then his motions on the horse also looked really stiff until the lighting breaking bridge part.

so we will be seeing lots of good pre-captured animations but still the poor in game motions from the characters.

anyway, that was a really good, smooth, well paced show. It's definitly one of the better (one of the best in my case since I don't watch these game news videos often) videos out there.

This is actually a very interesting point I had not thought of.

I really like the advancements toward true open-world games, but I do get very annoyed when games like Assassin's Creed have huge AI and graphics glitches. I had never thought of them being correlated. Hopefully they revolutionize it somehow, because I can't see myself giving up open world or realistic physics games!
