Hey guys!

Interesting title huh?!
I guess you already figured out that we improved.
And yeah..So we did.

Some time ago we had huge problems with out positioning in team fights because we used to get hit by ultis like RP and the rock from Warlock a lot. (So basically AOE stuns+dmg)
We clumped up a lot and when initiating we were running around like some ants chased by a little toddler with a flame thrower..
It was really frustrating because we threw games a lot just by fucking our team fights up massively.
Several people made calls like "spread out a bit" or "go" but nobody really listened and so we lacked a lot of coordination etc.
When I finally realised that there is something that has to be done about this we started improving.
I make more calls during the game now and I shut people up when other mates make calls.
That way every player has his own position in a fight and we focus down the right targets.
There were several situations when we played against a blink dagger Magnus but he could simply not hit his RP because we were spread out in a line.

The second big improvement is the communication between the supports.
Since Beana joined our team the communication between the supports and therefore on the tri-lane is waaaay better. Long (BakaNep) manages to get a lot of farm and plays a very good farming carry so as soon as the game goes into the later stages we win most of our games.

But as I stated in the head title improvement does NOT equal good games!
Even though we won some of our games and showed great team work and also solo play we lose a lot to pushing strategies.
As soon as we need to rotate in the early game we start feeling uncomfortably and forget about our initial game plan.
Early pushing really throws us off and I blame myself for that aswell..
When something like that happens I need to make even more calls telling people where to go and how to rotate.
The problem is this means less farm for everyone and because I am a very greedy person I try to squeeze as much farming time in as possible.
The conclusion of this is a lot of lost towers and even more fed opponents though.
Yes the carry has a LOT of farm...But how does it help you when your rax are down after 20 minutes?
It doesn't..

So my plan for future practices is to improve our defense against early pushing strategies while keeping our current performance up.
This way we should finally reach a point where we can win against every existing line-up and strategy out there without having to change our own.

Let's make a little swing over to our financial situation:

Because teamspeak gives us a free server now Brutal Insanity does not have to pay for one anymore.
This means they have money to spare..
Just saying
Anyway..

Thanks for reading again!

Questions? Gogo bombard the German!

NoLuck out!

Well i find forcestaff to be really efficient when dealing with big aoe ult. It has won me many fights over a good initiation. I think teams need to learn how to give more farm the support roles, a forcestaff can be game changing, while an mkb can be worked around by the opponent team.

How high level is your team? I've always wondered since I never hear much about Brutal Insanity as I'm outside of the DotA2 scene.
User was warned for too many mimes.

Just skill wise probably on the lower edge of very high skilled.
Brutal Insanity is a little community. So not really well known.
This is all just the beginning of the overall project.
We just assume that we have the potential to be good because we all come from professional gaming in other games and therefore have the commitment that's needed.
So yeah..Sponsors are investing in the potential not in the level of skill we have at the moment^^

Edit: And yeah force staffs are awesome! I remember a game in which we had like 4 force staffs or so xD
And btw..If you wanna know my level of play..I might start playing some all pick in 30 minutes or so..Gonna stream it.

Edit2: Okay..No stream yet..Watching MAAD.
