In addition to practicing medicine and lecturing at the university, Dr. Webber sometimes gets called on by the NYPD to look at the victims of crimes (they don't have specialised pathologist yet). There has been a series of murders on which you had been called in on by Lt. Martin Poole of the Homicide Squad. The crimes always looked very similar, with the victims having been disemboweled by a sharp weapon (they died off this injury), and having a sign cut into their forehead which always looked about like this: Lt. Poole can't seem to find any connection between the victims so far, and assumes that some kind of voodoo cult is the perpetrator. But his investigation does not link the sign to any of the known voodoo cults around the area. You were quite shocked when a week ago, the murder victim on your table turned out to be your good friend Jackson Elias. Meanwhile, the rest of the group suddenly decides that they totally need to contact the guy investigating the corpses for the police. | ||
