Regarding more important topics, i'd have hoped that you have figured out what exactly hurts shadows, but i also gave you the rules for that when Ragosion wanted to have one of his own.
And you have a very good idea what hurts angels now, so you should be able to fight them if you do it cleverly enough. Actually, it was useful that you engaged Than that way as it showed you the necessity to find that out without him horribly murdering you.

Fight some shadows, Barin catch one in a pot which he leaves closed on the ground
Search inn, find only drug crafter in basement, fight some more shadows, capture part of one, which Ragosion interrogates.
Catch shadow, then fight our way out of the basement in the morning
The god emperess Thalassa holds speech while we sleep
The old king will return according to the shadows.
The lost people are "below and elsewhere" The prison of the old king
Check out Than's building, find a dig with old stone corridors, mentions of the old king, "the forsaken one" ruled happily, but got overthrown at some point

I think it is sufficiently old-timey. I also remember it being used in The Witcher 2, so it must be real.

Hm, that is indeed pretty cool. I'll think about the exact way my totally not magic spells work and post them here for you to criticize. I think i'll just take the bull's strength spell like it is described in there.
My spells will be something along the lines of:
Sex-Change(Disguise)
PP 2
Range: self
Duration 30 min (1/10 min). Cannot be cancelled early.
Caster applies some basic disguise to appear more like the other sex. After also concentrating on this spell for a bit, the disguise becomes nearly perfect, even if naked. No physical changes, the illusion is purely in the mind of the beholder. It requires a notice - 4 (6 on a raise) to see through this illusion. For some weird reason does not affect facial hair.
Reduced PP costs by 1, lowered to Novice level. Increased duration to 30. Limited the transformation to only a sex-change.
Abs of Steel (Armor)
PP 2
Range: self
Duration 3 (1/round)
The caster tenses his muscles, making them hard as steel and able to sometimes even deflect blades, giving him +2 magical armor, + 4 on a raise. Also looks really cool when not wearing a shirt. If attacked by an unarmed Melee attack, the attacker takes 2d4 damage because he hurts his hand on the casters steeled muscles.
Didn't really change a lot except that i added that you hurt your hand if you punch him.

Warning, my Internet has been acting up yesterday and today. It is apparently back now, so i hope it will also be there tomorrow, but if it is not, there is no way for me to tell you

Don't worry, we got a good show now, I armwrestled 4 guys at once, we glued chicken feathers to the monkey, bought a goat and hired a weird elf chick with lots of snakes.
