Hope you guys enjoyed the short read. My first win in PvZ and it felt great lol. I have to commend my opponent. If he just kept on pressuring and maybe not went for that pylon although I can say 99% that I would've made the same choice, then maybe he would've been able to win this game since I was producing off 2 gateways by the end compared to his 3 hatch but his macro slipped at the end. His hydra micro was great as well. Anyways, till the next PvZ battlereport!

P.S. ManScout will definitely make another appearance next round!

P.S.S Corsair took out an overlord supply blocking my opponent and giving me a chance to get more units out

Did some of your pics screw up? I can't see how you actually won, all the pics are of you getting hydra busted?

nope, they didn't. After my opponent sniped my pylon, I just rebuilt it and he didn't macro behind that pylon snipping attack so he couldn't continue his aggression and left the game without gging lol. He had like 5-6 hydras left right outside my base against 3 cannons+2 zealots+2 dragoons and against a 2 base protoss with full saturation(he had only several drones at his 2nd, 1 drone at 3rd), he was at a big disadvantage. I didn't realize why he left until I saw the replay lol. Maybe I should add a final picture before the corsair but it wouldn't be any different?

Ah, I see. if you added another pic showing the aftermath of the pylon snipe, I think it would have been significantly clearer. Congrats anyway!

dont know why he left tbh. he didnt some good damage like taking out the gate and the forge. tbh i would have just contained and power droned.

regardless of you having an eco-lead, i would still have tried to power drone, knowing you are on low army size and i can protect fairly easily.

Thanks, he was a D Zerg as well so feels good XD ya, I was completely surprised he just left after it failed. With his 3 hatcheries, he could've power droned and kept me contained with the hydras. Losing the gate and forge and pylon lol was good damage imo as well. Maybe he figured I was teching up before the attack?

Nice battle report, really nice to read.

This actually brings to my attention something that is missing from SC2 - unit / building corpses being on the map after death. I don't remember if they actually lasted until the game was over or if they disappeared after x amount of time. Really cool seeing the battlefield change as you play the game.

In BW corpses only last up to 5-10 seconds or so, with varying stages of decomposition. Corpses in battle report screenshots do tend to impart a sense of permanence to the carnage, though.

Mantoss made an appearance in a PvZ I just played and he made a stand but eventually perished at the hands of devourers, the agony :'(
