I write these words at 10:01 pm, a few short hours from heading to St. Louis for the first time. To take part in a yearly convention a gathering of epic proportions. "What is this?" you might be asking yourself, IPL is a few weeks off and no MLG in site. Or if you know me by now you already know. That's right I have committed to the change, to become the woman you all know I can be... O wait wrong forum... I am going to www.balloonconvention.com Twist and Shout 2013!!
I leave Tucson at 5am so I can be at Phx Sky Harbor Airpizzy at the nice time of 9:52 am, a wonderful time that. To park my car at a day parking place T_T, Did not want to burden my wonderful friends at EG house to baby sit my car... last time Idra made a commercial in it... Sooo... the fun.
I arrive Tue. at 1:40 something. (to lazy to check ittenarary as well as finding the correct spelling since my version of spell check will only give me literary as a replacement word.) Free time aka helping some people build and possibly try out to be in a stage show....Los Globos....Thursday is when it really gets going with classes etc the jam room and much fun. I am planning on competing in the 3 and 12 minute competition and small and medium. Good luck me!! My week ends with a Latex free dinner : Twist and Shout will be over Feb. 3, and that means it's time for the annual Latex Free Sunday Dinner. It's a raucous good time where anyone (except for the enforcer, Big Don) caught with a balloon is fined a dollar or caught saying the word balloon is fined 25 cents.
And I end my week in St Louis on Monday plane leaves at 5:40 ish pm and get back to Phx at 8:13 pm
Ill make a blog and take as many photos as I can and who knows I may win something!! See you all on the other side!! (of STL) A few photos to hold you over...I know I lied (see title)

FuDDx out of curiosity - how many balloons goes into making that zealot? Is it just one or two of every color or is it alot more when they're that complex?
