I started off doing interviews for the After Hours Gaming League (where I am one of the volunteer admins). Of course, for the most part noone knows who any of these guys are. Then I had a cancellation one week, and scrambled, and wound up getting hooked up with Eternity.cArn. This was my first pro-player interview, and even though he's not a super big name player it was a pretty big break for me. Some of the connections I made during that process led to my interview last night.
The CEO of Eternity gaming knew I was looking for more people in the pro scene to interview, and being the incredibly awesome guy he is (<3 IFC!!) he put me in touch with FXOpen's NA SC2 Manager - FXOSeeKeR. FXOSeeKeR (who has an entry in the liquipedia) agreed to do the interview, and we were off.
I just want to start off by saying, SeeKeR is a really cool guy. He was super nice and friendly, and did everything on really short notice - I think he agreed to do it on Sunday or early Monday, and we recorded the interview Monday night. I'm hoping that this will lead to even more interviews with people in the industry, because I had an absolute blast doing it.
Anyway, why this blog post? Why am I rambling about all this stuff?
Well, I am hoping that the incredimazing TL audience (whoever reads this, anyway), will check out my interviews with cArn and SeeKeR and hopefully give me some feedback.
What did you like? What didnt you like? Are my questions just awful? Am I just awful? Do I have bad habits that are distracting?
Any feedback at all is super appreciated so that I can make these interviews bigger and better for all of you.
