Hello i just went on a huge losing streak and needed to write something to get my wrath out of me and don't whine on my bad english, thank you
Alot of people play this game, they play alot of games winning some and losing some, well most of us win 50/50 right? This is good, we don't get crushed that often and it's usuall pretty even games, unless you are a player that rages then everthing can change! When a normal player loses a game i think he rages a little nothing out of the ordinary, maybe get made write some mad words and searches a new game, well that's my goal, to be able to lose a game and not start raging or hating myself, because its a known fact for me that when i lose one game its just the beginning for a 14 losing streak, maybe one more game or one less but something like that. i have tried everything, tried to take a break, tried to study inbetween games, tried to play customs, tried to watch replays, tired to just keep playing nothing works. Every damn time i log in to play this game i get mad becasue i remember how bad i am and how good i wan't to be.
I usualy listen to this after a loss or after a win becuase my dream is to be a pro player, well i still wan't to finnish school and so on, but my goal is to be one of the best. Not today, Not tomorrow, Not this year but in like a year or too when school is finnished i know what my dream is and ofcourse i will try to chase it.''So just make a decision..and be willing to see it through to the end. Success will come...'' i am telling myself this everyday, every time i do something wrong, hell i even tell it to myself when i do something good. But once agian my rage is hindering me, i blame my self to hard after a single ladder game because i see how frking bad i play and that makes me want to just insta quit 10 games in a row and its damn hard to don't do it, sometimes i insta quit one or to beacuse i can't stop myself, after a while when i understand what i did i feel a shame becasue i give up to easy and thats a shame, a real shame.
As a terran i often watches this between games to have a goal to play like him, i look up to him becasue all of his awesomeness, i understand that marineking have bad days, goes on the same losing streaks but does he quit after that? no ofcourse not, he maybe takes a break or two. Does he start to hate himself after a bad tournament day? probably sometimes but why? because he probably knows he can do better, and thats the same thing i feel after a loss, i know that i lost because i did something wrong and i should fix that.
I know this is probably poorly written and i am sorry for that, i will update it later, or atleast i think so, have a good day ladies and gentlemen
I find it amusing that you're from Scandinavia and kept saying "finnish" instead of "finish."
It is frustrating to play so horribly compared to professional players, but you should embrace how fun the game is instead of punishing yourself if you want to maintain the motivation to accomplish your goals. Besides, you should look at your improvement rather than your flaws. Load up one of your first replays and see how far you've come.
I also think this might help you if you have tried some improvement methods and failed.
One more thing, if you lose that many games compared to wins, then there must be an issue with the ladder system. Either you're playing HotS or your MMR hasn't stabilized yet. It should be closer to 50% winrate, not overwhelming amounts of losses.

Well that is kind of funny now when you say it
Hmm you got a point about i gotten better, i started out in bronze in season one and is now master, well my mrr have stabilized after about 7k games. The thing is that i often get like a 14 win streak and after a 14 lose streak only becasue i get tilted after one loss. the game is fun i can give you that but i hate being bad at something that i love and i must say that even tho i am master i am pretty damn bad.
I think people that get angry learn very slowly. You're spending too many thought telling yourself you should be better, when you should spend those thoughts thinking what to do differently or how you could win if that situation happened again.
There's a saying which people hate: work smarter, not harder. People think it means nothing and it's just something your stupid boss tells you who doesn't know what it means either. Still, beyond people overusing it there is truth to it. You can put as much time as you want into something, and you may never improve. People who are good at learning (and oddly learning is a skill you have to learn) know how to separate their egos from what they need to do. They don't get offended by a loss. They don't gloat when they win. They think only about the skills involved in the game and what to do next time. They are focused and not hoping for skills to resolve themselves by brute force. If you wanna work smarter, you write things down, you think about the mechanics of the game, you plan and revise plans until something works. If you just work harder, usually you do the same stupid thing over and over without realising it. You hope that speed and accuracy can make up for stupidity.
So your dream is to not get angry after a loss. How are you gonna do that? You need to make a plan. Maybe you think about kittens. Maybe you don't think of the other player as a human whose witnessed you being a noob. Maybe you realise it's just a game that doesn't mean anything. Maybe you say "I won't use chat except to gg." Maybe you have a mantra "more gg more skill" like White Ra. The more you lose the more you learn. If you're winning all the time, there's nothing left to learn. So make your plan in whatever way suits you. But don't just thinking playing more games and losing more is gonna make you learn how to deal with losses. That's just the brute force method over again.

You got a good point and i must say that i have been thinking alot of what you have been writing, the problem is when i donät see the other player as a must win match i can't focus as much as when i feel the game is unimportant. My biggest problem is that my mindest is topping me i think. Thank you for your answer
