Hi guys!
To my and hopefully your excitement, i created a list of the best 30 foreign players. As you may know, those lists are rly subjective. I try to look at achievements and latest results, but its unavoidable to get personal opinions into this.
There is no such thing as the perfect „ranking“, but i enjoy doing those, most ppl enjoy reading them, but not many ppl put rankings out there.
My ranking is purely about foreign players and i exclude asian, non korean players as well – that means you wont find chinese or taiwanese players in my ranking. The simple reason being: i dont have much information about these scenes. I obviously know that Sen, Xigua and others are great players, but its impossible to compare them to the players in EU and NA. So you could consider it a „Western Foreigner Top 30“.
I put quite some work into it and i hope i get at least some reads, since i think a ranking made by a random person should be posted as a blog and not as a thread in the general section, even though it might end up with no responses at all.

lol I can't believe you put that many polls in the OP.
Anyway, there's a lot of movement this month. Vortix and Lucifron made the most impressive jumps in my opinion, and deserved to be moved up close to the top (as you indicated). Stephano definitely still on top, and most other people gradually moving up or down makes sense to me. Good stuff overall

Great post This is cool! Voted on all. Though would like to vote more on the protosses. Feast, Elfi, Bling & Tod are better than some of the current Top30 imo

Nice again. I agree with this month's more than any other month. The only big change I would make is to make lowely less lowely. =) Sheth probably a bit too high too.

These days I think Kespa does a better job ranking current talent. Nothing about the OP, but the polls that people are voting on. Won something, anything, in the past week? "Too Low!" Haven't won a championship in the past month? "Too High!"
I just want to say sorry to all the players on the community's behalf.
edit: Just wanted to be clear that I think the OP did a pretty good job.

Grubby, sLivko, DIMAGA, and HasuObs are too high. Snute is the best zerg in Norway and should be in the mid-teens, BabyKnight is also way way undervalued, considering where Grubby has been placed, putting BK so far down makes no sense. Scarlett is in the top ten. JonnyREcco should also be quite a bit higher. Not sure why Happy is so high up there, but he won't ever win anything, so he placement is probably not accurate.

its easy to say "xy should be lower / higher", but its hard to place them correctly when all comes together!
leaving out ranks, ranking 2 guys the same place or making the list longer than 30 isnt what i ranking is supposed to be, that makes it rly hard honestly^^

infact; I completely disagree with the voting from tl´rs, they seem far more populistic, and if it is one thing this poll has done right, is that it has (Even if monthly) a healthy look on the longertimespan, and not trends.
Except one thing:
Get johnnyreco out and get major in.

Anyway, nice list. Naniwa seems to be a bit too high at the moment because he hasn't performed well in the last few tournaments but since I know you have people drop lower really slowly, it's okay, I guess. And as tree.hugger said, I don't know who I'd give the spot to anyway. Maybe even to one of the Spaniards, but that would be a bit too biased due to very recent events and with the way you're ranking, you couldn't even remotely justify it.
Whatever, enough with the rambling, keep those lists coming.

I disagree with most of this...
I've never seen snute perform well in tournaments or clan wars. And the 3rd place should easily be given to THORZAIN.
He won Dreamhack stockholm as well as TSL 2 and has been a generally consistent player for a while now.
Happy has held EU GM no.1 for many consecutive seasons and performed quite well in tournaments like Homestory cup even when Terran was doing it's worst. He definately deserved to be top 15.
Major problems with this list are
Scarlett too low, she roflstomped WCS canada
Maj0r.... Fucking major put him on that list what the fuck
Suppy/Vibe need to be there in place of say, Titan]
Ret hasn't won anything I don't believe... Swap his place with scarlett.

Snute recently took second place at Campus Party Europe, and third at the Battle of the Ministry of Win. He won the online ONOG Invitational a while ago, but if you can count ThorZaIN's TSL2 win as an argument for him being ranked over a year later, then I can certainly mention everything else.
ThorZaIN is really good, but I question his killer instinct. When he was an underdog, he used to constantly over-perform expectations, in part because they were low, but also in part because he seems to relish playing up. Now that he's routinely favored, he's had difficulty matching expectations. Happy hasn't been EU GM #1 in ages, that's been VortiX and BabyKnight for a while now. He basically plays one style per match-up, and will probably keep performing decently without ever winning anything. Much as I love Suppy, and much as I've recently been impressed by ViBE, TitaN is better than both.
Ret has won Assembly Winter 2011, EU Battle.net Championship, took top four at DH Winter 2011, took third at IEM Sao Paulo, won the RB LAN #1, took top four at DH Stockholm, directly qualified for TSL4, and took fourth at NASL3. He's not so bad.

watch titans results, hes one of the best foreign protosses for sure!
major - ye, but talent isnt everything, results are missing.
scarlett - i need more offline results. winning wcs canada isnt the most impressive thing for a top 10 caliber player - anyone would do it. she is on her way up though obviously as you can see on this months ranking.

EU/KR competition is pretty different to that. She recently lost to Titan and TLO. I think she is pretty well placed.
The most missplaced player is Huk imo. I don't get how he lost 6 more places this month. He is 3-0 in NASL and qualified for IPL5 beating 3 Koreans. He should be clearly placed above Idra.

I always really enjoy saying how things are progressing from month to month I still think that ViBe should be on that but perhaps we'll see him jump up there after the MvP MLG event finishes seems like he's dominating right now for NA with a 6-0 record at the start.
