However, I disagree with tree's sentiment of Happy and Hasuobs being too high. They might never be a top player, but if you ran a tournament right now and probably any time till they retire, I bet they'll always consistently finish around where they're placed. It's a similar problem to what I had with lucifron's ranking last month; most people would agree that he has a ton of potential, but making a ranking solely based off of potential is imo a bit too subjective to justify in a ranking.

I think i undervalued snute quite a bit. Also, Major, beastyqt and probably Feast should be in there. The question is: for who? Jrecco, Targa, Bly, Lowely? Some well known EG players? idk :/ Monchi should be in the top 50 now after his impressive ieSF win, while socke seems to be worse than ever and should probably drop even more ranks now. SortOf is a tiny bit overvalued as well.

Major should be on the list, but he has definitly not shown enough to be top ten. He beat Hyun and Puma (but also lost to both of them shortly after or before). We need to see more from Major, especially vs Europeans too. Vibe is in contention with his latest matches. On October 06 2012 03:01 jupidar wrote: Curious, what has SaSe done to be ranked so high? Genuine question because I don't follow him that much. Sase doesnt play a lot of tournaments. So if you don't follow him and don't hear from him, it doesnt mean, he is doing bad. He had very strong MLG performances this year (beating numerous of strong koreans). At the last Dreamhack he only was eliminated by the later winner Taeja, he did beat Sage and Moon before.

He definitely has talent, but what accomplishments does he have in international LAN tournaments? Vibe, Scarlet and Major are really hard to rank when they so rarely participate in tournaments with lots of non-NA players. Also, Snute is probably better than Targa. It's too bad he hasn't participated in some of the big tournaments of late, because he seems to be in pretty good shape. Beat Targa the other day in a Norwegian lan. Also demolished Babyknight in that bo69 match, although admittably that wasn't a very serious showmatch in terms of prestige.

GSL is just very tough and many would lose there (as did Mana). In the showmatch vs Nerchio, Nerchio got in his head and ZvP has often been his bane. I would have to see a bit more of Sase, Lucifron and vortix to place them over Nani.
