There are some very helpful shortcuts for that instead of manually adjusting the camera constantly (which just looks bad). 1. Ctrl-Shift-F keeps the selected units centered automatically until you move the camera around manually. 2. Clicking on the 3d picture in the bottom (the one with the face) keeps the selected units centered as long as you hold the mousebutton down. That makes those instances a lot smoother and causes less headaches when watching your camera control. Casters like TB make a lot of use of this - especially when following armies around - since in addition to looking better, it also allows you to focus on talking instead of on keeping those units on the screen. Oh wow, I already knew about the Ctrl+Shift+F and I was going to key bind it to one of my macro keys, but I had no idea about the clicking on the portrait! Thank you!

If you want to get really really good then just cast like everyday. You don't necessarily have to post them, just do them for your improvement and to get better. Eventually it will become something like a second nature to you and it'll be super easy. Best of luck. Yeah, I definitely practice more than the videos I put out every other week. Honestly, I wish I had time to do it every day, but I also have a career, and there is more than just casting that needs to be done! Playing, watching other casters, and streaming are all important steps to becoming a professional caster and, unfortunately, they take up time too! Thanks!

Well, ok, lets start, first of all, you love e-sports? you wanna be a pro at it? And you ar just a silver level player? Ok, i see you dont wanna to be a player, just a caster, but in my point of view if you "love e-sport" and wanna be part of it, and be a respect caster like day9, Bitterdam, tastosis, gretorp, kaelaris e etc ... You need at least play at a master lv, because why the fak should i turn my tv on, to see some1 that dont know how to make eggs, trying to cook (some hard stuff here)? There ar programs that do this, they put some1 that dont really know much about the subject to do it, but those ar the programs that just wanna get people laughing of it, or at it. Here in Brazil, we have a caster, that cast almost all event's of starcraft 2, and he's just awful, its painfull to watch him, so why people keep calling him for do stuff? Simple, most of the audience have no clue what they ar watching either so ... whataever ... You can make it work - you ar a woman, and its proved, that even if you dont really know sh1t about the game, the bosses like have a pretty face on the camera, and i guess most of the views do like it too. In my point of view, we have allrdy a lot of sh1t caster at the community, if you ar going to be one of those, dont waste your time, but if you wanna really get srly about it, and really spend time to improve and get good at it, go for.

It's not a webcam mic, it's a Blue Snowball mic recommended to me by Day9. It's great for my stream, but yeah, it picks everything up. I actually already ordered a headset for this kind of thing because of this. Good call! odd then, not sure why its picking up so much background noise. is it perhaps really far from you when you are using it, ie you turned up the recording the volume? that would cause the mic to have that background noise in the recording.

Well I do have the sound settings for the mic all the way up in XSplit, but that's only because game/background sound is all the way down... T.T
