I have not been playing at all for about a week due to my recently starting school again. It's university this time so there's a lot of new stuff not just in school but with making new friends and such. So much money has gone to drinking beer. Because of this I'll probably be able to play some more since I can't really go out any more this month. Unless I manage to find a buyer for my bike that's way to small for me.

Anyhow, while I've been playing I've hit a bit of a slump. For the last two days I have played about 20 games but lost more than half of them. Which is not something I'm used to. Every time I go broodlord I loose and every time I go for ultras I win. It used to be the other way around.

Before my worst matchup was ZvT and my best matchup was ZvZ. The tables have turned. I have won one or two ZvZ's but lost an incredible amount of them. I'm winning most of my ZvT's though. The trick seems to be teching faster. This is something I've been doing a lot.

Instead of going for the midgame I am now quickly getting to hive, as quickly as I deem safe, and rarely make any big pushes before I have ultras or a good amount of broolords out.

I haden't noticed before but they removed the rocks from Tal'darim Altar which makes it playable again, for me that is. I just couldn't get an expo at the time I wanted to. Not without sacrificing drones for lings. Now it's an easy third base with a lot of open space which in turn makes for great engagements.

I am guessing I won't be getting a promotion for the new season. I don't really deserve it. This means I'll just have to work that much harder next season. Looking forward to it!
