Today, I played five games.
None of the games where vs terran though. it was 3 ZvZ's and 2 ZvP's and I haven't been up against very many terran at all lately. I have noticed some complaining about this is in forums and on reddit but that's mainly on a masters and grandmasters level. Meaning, nowhere close to my level. I just didn't think this was a problem in the lower levels.
I won all games but one. One of the ZvZ's I was to late to react and didn't react enough to a speedling all-in so I just straight up lost while I was trying to tech up.
The other ZvZ's I won though, One through just having more roaches and lings and the other one, oh the other one. This was a special one in my book.
It started out pretty standard without any early aggression except for some ling pokings mainly meant for scouting. We both got to 3 bases unhindered and got out a bunch of roaches and infestors.
This was when the fun started, when we were trying to take fourths and fifths and they kept getting denied. And run-by's where happening while both of us were teching to broodlords.
Eventually a big engagement happened. I won this engagement convinsingly because hydras don't like fungals and ultras it seems.
I managed to kill his fifth and fourth with the remains of my army but they were eventually killed by a few mutas and lings and roaches. I Managed to kill the mutas using my infestors and so I made some more ultras and lings and managed to kill his natural. This army was cleaned up by A LOT of mutas while I was dealing with a metric shit-ton of lings in my main and natural. So I decided to do the same and build a bunch of mutas since I had killed his spires. I outmassed his mutas and managed to kill everything he had on the ground with lings and eventually I won.
This was definently the craziest game of the day since the ZvP's I just went for a stephano-style play with 3-base roach and so forth.
It's been a good day ladder-wise and I might play some more later tonight.

It happens. My friend and I were playing on his computer and we ran into 1 protoss and like 6 zergs.

im a high diamond terran and TvT is rare. everytime i play a terran they either cheese or 1base all in. kinda wack.

Meh. I'm a diamond terran and I've been getting quite a lot of TvTs lately (way more than a month or two ago anyway).

No way! With a robust sample size of five, who could argue that all the Terrans are in hiding?
Sometimes you hit a bunch of one race, sometimes a bunch of another.
Anyways, the games you did play sound fun

Top diam Terran here.
It's really rare facing other Terrans. I think I usually face like 3/2 toss, 2/3 zerg and 1 Terran out of 6 games. And funny enough, all those Terrans are tend to be masters, no diam. Strange...

It is very simple, and it is definetly not a coincidence.
Playing Terran ATM is a chore. Maybe some pros from Korea can get the best of this race - but for a lot of players all TvX match ups are really hard.
The most depressing thing is the fact that microing as Terran isnt benefiting for you, it just let you survive. But this is a flawed design, instead of nerfing Terran other races should have more units which benefit from good micro too.
Some statistics from my SC2 Gears:
TvT - 182 matches, 65% win ratio
TvP - 264 matches, 42% win ratio
TvZ - 271 matches, 49% win ratio
Terran as the least represented because it is the hardest race to play.
TvT is really the only match up I feel good and on even ground. In other match ups I feel as if I play against the timer.

Thank you! A larger sample size is required before said deduction can be credible.

You can look at the sc2ranks statistics if you want. There's a lot less terran on ladder above diamond and it's been true for a while. Probably not as much as people are thinking though. There's no foreign terran icon. Thorzain has never been on the same level as idra, huk, or stephano. Maybe for a short period of time though right after tsl3.

Terran here, I wish I had your problem >.< TvT is by far my worst matchup, and I got 3/4 Terrans in the games I played today -- lost every one of them =/ Problem is I'm just not a fan of tanks so I get impatient and then just die.

Terran has no late game options vs the other two races. It's just currently: keep doing the same stuff and maybe they'll screw it up.
I honestly don't plan on playing sc2 again until hots.

Late game Terran is much harder to use effectively than the late game armies of Zerg and Protoss. In fact, most of Terran's effectiveness generally requires much more activity and better decision making than the standard playstyles of P/Z. There are def hard was to play P/Z, but its much less common.
When controlled to the maximum potential, Terran (especially late game) is arguably unbeatable. However, it's just really damn hard to do so.
