EPTI don't actually have to attack at all during games. I can just defend and crush my opponents attacks while expanding everywhere and eventually they leave.
I have won most of the games I have played these last couple of days except for a few. PvPs, I have lost due to stupid play as well as a few other games. I don't think I have been outplayed in a long macro-game in any game except for a couple of TvTs. I suck at TvT though, so I'm not all to broken up about it.
I am finding that the race I miss the most when playing random is zerg, assuming I don't spawn as zerg for a while. So, I'm thinking that I'm going to play as zerg for a while and see where it takes me. Most likely I'll be bored with it but then I can just start playing random again.
So for now it's zerg that I'll be playing. I just hope it goes well.
I am now rank 5 in silver and I'm getting right back in to the laddering.
EDIT: Surely enough I'd like to stick to random. As predicted I did get a bit bored with zeg. I just want to play all the arces I guess.
