I just discovered this guy today, and my mind is blown. I don't understand why EVERYONE hasn't heard of him already.
From his blog:
I make videos to (hopefully) entertain, share my music, and encourage others to play even if they're just getting started. No matter where you plan to take your music, I think it's time well spent. Whether you're hammering out "Mary Had a Little Lamb" or something crazy complicated, music can and should be fun. It's such a constructive use of your time, even if you are doing simple stuff.
Ronald Jenkees is a electric pianist and producer, thats the best way I can think of to put it. He has no classical training, went to school for Network Security, and is basically a nerd from Kentucky. But this guy can play like few others can. Here's a sample, and one of my favorite songs:
But what makes this even more amazing is his goofy personality, and the love you can see that he puts into his music when he plays live:
This guy really loves what he does, and he loves the people who love his music. He doesn't care if you download his music for free (though he of course appreciates purchases), but unlike most artists, he goes above and beyond.
CD Signing: I will personally sign the CD's if you buy 2 or more of either, including if you buy the old+new CD.
I don't know of any artists that do this, and this is what made me order both CDs instead of just one.
Ronald Jenkees has instantly shot up to my #3 Favorite Artist, behind Nujabes and Pink Floyd, and ahead of Pretty Lights. I've been told I've fallen in love, but the music is just so good I can't hold it in. Hope you guys enjoy and support this guy!

- OH SHIT, he IS! WOW!
I've waited for him to start making new music for far too long, eventually just gave up and considered him "dead."
Soundcloud, GO!
HOLY SHIT THE SONGS ON HIS WEBSITE ARE SO FUCKING EPIC.
Apparently he has too much content for CD3 and he's working on finishing them all up to production quality. No idea what happens then. Maybe CD3 will be a double!

I'm in bliss right now. I can jam to this shit for hours.
SC so fucking surreal right now. ---
Oh yeah and I'm so going to buy this shit right when it comes out. He'd better have a deluxe edition for this shit, lol. ---
I bought like 6 signed CDs a few years ago, he even helped me getting that thing through customs and wrote a short letter on top of that. I think I might have been one of the first few hundred customers. =D
Yeah his music is really good. It's perhaps not among by very very favorites, but it's still awesome, and Ronald Jenkees himself is one of the nicest and coolest guys out there, period ^^
Disorganized Fun (the non-album version, his original video of it) is my favourite song by far. The album version seems to lose quite a few subtleties that make it so good to me.
A lot of his songs show up in video games and tv shows. However, my favorite is still his intro for Bill Simmons' podcast. "A gristy steak knife on a well-aged steak...yeah!!!"

Rusty steak knife... cutting through... a well-aged... steak. =p
On topic, yeah, he's fucking awesome, love Jenkees! Once a month or so I'll go on a huge Jenkees kick and listen to him nonstop
