Last night I dreamed I was taking classes at the nursing school at Penn, only Penn was in LA. For some reason, I had met Sean and ended up at his place doing homework. I went into the restroom right when I arrived, and was concerned to find the bathtub water on and the bath almost full. I went over and turned it off, and was surprised to find legos in the bottom of the tub. Not just abandoned legos-- clearly they had been carefully set up. It was mostly little people legos on top of those flat lego surfaces.
I went back out and informed Sean his bathtub had been turned on and close to overflowing. He looked startled, and then rushed past me into the bathroom to fiddle with the tub. I went to do homework. Meanwhile Sean came back and sat at his desk. Every now and then he would get up, leave, and come back after a few minutes. I didn't pay much attention to him because my homework was really obnoxious, and I was afraid of killing someone if I got it wrong (cause nursing school idk?).
After another hour or two, I got back up and went into the bathroom (must have had a lot of coffee or something) and found the water on again. This time there were little lego robosubs and a giant (lego) squid in there. I turned off the water, and went back to tell Sean his faucet had been on.
He looked really exasperated, grabbed me by the shoulders, and said very seriously: "Look, don't mess with the water ok? You are ruining the submarine base." Then he went to turn it back on-- presumably-- and I went back to the homework.
Somehow I ended back in the bathroom again. He had built an underwater lego mountain range down one side of the tub. Despite what he said, I was really concerned the tub was going to overflow, so I turned down the water to a trickle. Then I went back and told him what I had done.
He threw his hands up in frustration, and grabbed his graph paper notebook. "Do you see this?!" He waved a page in my face, but of course I didn't see because I SUCK at maths. "I have calculated the exact volume of water going in and out of the tub when the drain is open, and marked the faucet to keep the water level even." Then he went to turn it back on.
For some reason, even with all his math, I couldn't believe the tub wouldn't overflow, and I eventually went to turn it off again. This time Sean caught me in the bathroom, only his hands were full of a massive lego sub. "Why don't we just plug the drain?" I asked before he could get upset.
Sean carefully started putting the lego sub down next to the giant squid. "BECAUSE. I need a whirlpool that will suck the carcass of the squid down into the Abyss after Captain Nemo finishes killing it and saving his underwater town." He turned the water back on and opened the drain. "Now stop ruining it!"
I went back to do homework and
and woke up in a panic because I was late for an early morning work meeting, only to discover my boss was stuck in traffic and pushing it back 30 minutes. Also wtf that dream? But it was so random I decided to post it while I am waiting for the meeting.

Really, i'm speechless, almost sounded like minecraft having something to do with your dream, but you didn't play that much and it was legos ( made me think of that because of the Squid )

Whoa I had a dream where I went to CA and saw Day9 at a sushi restaurant but he wouldn't let me take a picture with him until finally but then I forgot to save it on my phone. Nothing about a bathtub though -_-

I actually thought of that too when I woke up, though I didn't remember who said it. I am pretty sure at one point Day9 may have said it on stream (but more politely). Isn't that in the random BM thread?

Black and white dreamer? Aldous Huxley wrote that "most people dream in black and white" in the Doors of Perception, but most people I've talked to dream in colour. This led me to theorize that black and white dreamers were more common before technological developments such as television and other things that add colour were around.
Anyways I found the dream very pregnant with possible symbolism. Sean plays some sort of teacher role to a lot of us starcraft kids. I wonder how he fits into the psyche of the OP.
I see lego intricate planning, experimenting. Sean is really anal about how things are. Hm, maybe this one can't be amde into sense but I like to keep track of symbols that are important to me.
Also "waterlevels" of the tub remind me of "come on feel the illinoise!" by Sufjan Stevens it goes
