There’s this Asian guy at my work, he’s got a thick accent on him but he’s probably the funniest guy I’ve met. I’m about to go to break before he see’s me, but we will get to that later. It’s been a thing for a few weeks that he would have a tin of lollies and fill them up for people to take but now he has a note on it “If you take the last one you re-fill it”, the tin you can’t see into unless you open the lid. After a while I was talking to him and asked him why he stopped buying them and he laughed and opened his draw and it was full of lollies and he shot me the most serious look and said “ Free lollies, don’t tell anyone”.

Yesterday was my birthday and he gave me some coupons that would expire on the 1st of June, my birthday was the 31st of May. These coupons were for Hungry Jacks (Australian version of Burger King) and he told me to use them as a hang over cure. Since my birthday was in the middle of the week I had to come to work the next day and he comes up to me and asks “Used the coupons yet?”.

I laughed and said “No I haven’t got a chance yet”. He replies with “Oh well.. you do know they expire today and I’m kinda hungry, I feel like Hungry Jacks”. I didn’t know what to say, I didn’t even bring the card that they had given me to work because I took it home. I laughed and said “me to”. This was the most awkward thing on earth, he looked at me then at my wallet sitting on my desk and was like “Well.. Its lunch time soon we should go to Hungry Jacks” and walked away.
