Around here you can take defensive driving courses to avoid having points taken off your license, you should see if there is a similar system in place in NC. It's a 200$ ticket written for 44mph in 35. Apparently 10+ they suspend your license like above or something gay. In michigan its like 25+ or something. Anyways i just wanna make it so there's no points on my license even if i have to pay a bit more. The cop said something about a driving school course, haven't heard any more info on it asking around i'm gonna look online.

http://www.speedingticketcentral.com/North-Carolina-speeding-ticket.html You can use the Prayer for Judgement, try talking to the ADA to try to lower the ticket, or talk to a lawyer.

I was going 70 in a 55 so not sure about the whole license being revoked thing. That said, taking a class is the best option I think. You can only use prayer for judgement once(I also think that means nobody else on your insurance policy can use PFJ for a certain number of years.) Taking a class is pretty boring, but it is definitely the best way overall if you're looking to remove points.

You can easily just go to court (on the appointed date) and explain to the judge your situation without a lawyer. The best thing that can happen is that the judge can give you a second chance or the police officer who issued the ticket not show up, which will lead to an automatic not guilty verdict.

I can't imagine it is much different than anywhere else. that's minor. Show up, dressed decently enough, explain your situation and agree to go to defensive driving school if they offer. It probably knocks points off too

That's admitting guilt and you'll get slammed on your insurance because of the points. Hiring a lawyer will likely be more expensive than paying for a traffic ticket. Look into taking the class for point reduction imo. Prayer of judgement is also a possibility. I don't really know if subpoena'ing the officer works or not.

I'm only here for 3 months and i think its just an NC thing.
