ella_guru Canada1741 Posts May 20 2012 22:10 GMT #1 it's called 'touchin stoves'. i did all the music and singing and stuff on it. i was mostly feeling some sort of jazzish instrumentation and things, so i hope you enjoy that aspect. i dont sample too much but i took some efforts on it this time, usually i prefer to just play the music on guitar or keyboard, but this album was about gettin outta my comfort zone. Like: touchin stoves. its called that because.. you know, your mom can say "dont touch the stove, its hot" . even though you trust her, you dont know what she REALLY means until you just touch that stove. then you *understand* from now on what heat is, what that is. so this album, i tried to do some new things for myself, different flows, singing, new beets. the more stoves you touch the more you can understand the human condition and the shape of the journey. its about being open with yourself, find the strength in vulnerability. so stretched lyrically a bit, writin about incest, transgender shit, and other stuff. you guys dont seem to say much about when i post things here, but i hope you touch a lil stove with me this time around.
