EPTWell you say many many people will be doing the exact same thing and I reply "Balderdash". Well actually it would be something like nope.
I'm going to be playing Diablo 3 co-op with my 66 year old mother(don't tell her I told her age). I am 45 years old myself and neither of us will be very good at the game.
She's going to roll a Barbarian and I'm going to be a Demon Hunter. We both got to play during the stress test weekend and while we weren't amazing at the game by any stretch of the imagination, we weren't the absolute worst players either.
During the stress test weekend, I hogged the game and took down the SK on 5 different occasions while mom made one complete run thru and killed the SK taking one death from the SK.
I'm going to be leveling the Blacksmith on my account and she is going to be leveling the Jeweler on hers. I do believe I can trust her to craft my stuff as she can trust me to craft hers.
I have Skype setup so we can communicate easily in-game as I think that will be key to improving her play and not having us wipe. Let's hope I'm not the weak link in the duo.
Not surprising is the fact that mom is retired. Possibly surprising is the fact that I am semi-retired and that allows us to play quite a bit each day. Therefore, I'm hoping we either clear Normal or are at least in Act 4 of Normal at the end of Day 1. Please check in on the blog from time to time to see an update of how we are doing.
I hope to remember to update the blog each morning before starting play. Mom will have to have her cup of coffee to get going and I will need my Coke Zero.
Hopefully at some point we make it to/thru Inferno. No matter what we will be having a blast playing the game.
