Man, i've got to ban myself from reading forum too much. Even tho, on rational level i don't care about people's responses, my brain still goes like:
The thing is, i don't want incorrect judgements and flawed theories to grow, and potentially become an influence on, let's say - game balance. However i realized, that instad of being a knight in shining armor i can let this go, while investing recovered time in training, to overcome possible injustices. That way, not only i end up in pretty much the same place, but i can also avoid arguing with stupid people (something i do in real life when i can) and become better player.
I'm already limiting myself to short and succinct posts, just to present my point of view, so that anyone can take it or leave it. And i think that's the better way to go.
Next step, is not even opening thread's that don't benefit me, and are full of trolls and legitimately shortsighted people.
Same goes for this blog, and you who are reading it. I'm not trying to argue, i do not target this message at anyone. It's just pure expression of my opinions which you can accept or not. See you next time.

It's almost impossible to convince anyone on the internet of anything, and a "short succinct post" on something like game balance will certainly not convince anyone. People have to be open to having their opinion changed when they approach a subject for it to be changed. In the case of TL and balance discussion, this is not the case for 99% of the population. The other thing to note is that not only is the game still in development (both in strategy and in reality), but no one has mastered it completely, including yourself. The validation for your opinion is the same as it is for the people who disagree with you: your personal experiences and biased observations.
So yes, in the end, you're accomplishing pretty much nothing by posting besides petting your ego. If that's not something you feel you need to do, then go and play the game. GLHF

Lot of dumb asses here on TL, that's for sure. We're all dumb asses at some point, but it's a shame that the average quality of a post seems to be falling so dramatically. This is (partially) what's meant by "I hate eSports."

I'm gonna go with QxC with his idea that most people are morons, and people tend to be horribly wrong a lot of the time. So its time to not give a fuck about what all the noobs and trolls say, and just get better at playing without their distractions.
Regarding the horrible posting standards lately, those are all the casuals who jump from game to game, who really don't give a single fuck about anything that isn't full of drama. I know plenty of these people irl and they are all the same. These people come and go. If there were no plans for HotS release, they probably would have jumped ship to another game already. For the most part its the same with the balance whiners.
