This might not be the most interesting blog as far as content, but I wanted to post it in dedication to my friends who just won a video contest giving them a trip to KOREA!!!

Here's the announcement (they are the two girls from Canada at the end):

The contest was a global event for the Korean boy band, BigBang and they were one of three picked for the main prize that gives them airfare, accommodations, and a tour of the YG studio!

Here's their video:

I was a bit skeptical when I heard their general idea because it seemed like just fan-girlism, but when I was helping them film and saw all the stuff they put together (the concept and the custom audio track) I was really impressed. Then I saw the final product and was really blown away!

To my friends Carlee and Kendall,

I'm so proud of you two! Please say hi to BigBang and our Korean friends for me!

I know right? Ha ha. What was crazier though, was when I made my own entry for the contest and we saw the exact same guy. So when I these friend uploaded theirs I was like "no way!!"

I remember when I went to Korea, I was watching Astro Boy, and there were Korean subtitles. I later found out the audio was in Japanese. Total mindscrew, a language I didn't understand with subtitles of another language I didn't understand.

no this probably has nothing to do with what you said but it reminded me of it.

btw...does that first girl look familiar to anyone else? She looks really familiar but I'm not sure if it's someone I know personally or if it's just a famous person.
