i think a lot of people are very quick to judge and simply pass this off as a "bitch" acting crazy.
what one might forget is that, like is said before, she could be a little confused, and by that i mean not sure how she can
reconcile her self-stated ethic of going for more mature men and the feelings she might have for you ( who doesnt seem to fit her "target group").
what you two should do is talk about it. dont keep her at arms length. for all you know this might be causing her some suffering. ive been in that situation too where someone is making him/herself scarce and you are left with the desire to get in contact with that person. if youve grown emotionally attached to that person it can be quite painful.

Hmmm... If she's really hot and everything, I'd recommend keeping her around as a fuckbuddy, but I wouldn't recommend starting a relationship with her. Women that insecure usually make for poor GFs, she's most likely very very jealous, which would just make it worse.

I think it might be a good idea to ask a close friend or two of hers (who's also a good friend of yours) if she's ever done this to other people, and why.
But I'd recommend staying away from speculation. I think it's impossible to figure out what a woman is thinking ... you just gotta admit ignorance and ask her haha.

This is just my own experience, but if I ever felt utterly confused in a relationship, it was usually what the girl was going for. If the intentions are unclear, they're usually bad. This case might be an exception but it sure sounds like a woman that wants to take advantage of you.

I'm not going to lie, but a majority of my male friends seem to be dating crazy women. The sad reality is setting in that perhaps all women are crazy.
That being said, I think that this woman is simply confused. She is obviously thinking about you and has wanted to, and you're not her picture perfect late-20s to early-30s man with a stable job. There's a good chance that she's upset at you for making her like you, as ridiculous as that sounds. I'd back away slowly, and if she doesn't get the hint, there are always less subtle ways to tell her how you feel.

As others have said, leave her be, you don't need that shit. If you want to keep her number around to hook up with her every now and then after a party, by all means, but she's not relationship material. Your average 21 year old is not terribly mature. My guess is that she's been looking around at most guys her age, throwing her hands in the air in frustration, and concluding that she needs to look for older partners, but she didn't realize that she was actually just as immature.

Just try being sane and trying to explain everything from your perspective, and let her do the same. In my experience 99% of disagreements stem from misinformation or poor perception about the situation.
