So maybe you should ask her out on a date. Well, ok, you should definitely ask her out on a date. Make sure she knows it's a date (not a friendzone hangout), but don't make it blatantly obvious and awkward. I think she'll get the message and most likely accept your request. I'd like to stick in my massive blurb about making it a physical date and establishing natural connections, but unfortunately my manager has piled on a ton of Friday work on me and I don't want to go home late on a Friday so back to work for me. Uh, short version, establish natural (yes, very very natural) physical connections like hugs and high fives and playful nudges and maybe even holding hands, you know best where to draw the line. Work your charm and keep her guessing, and you'll instinctively know when to pull the trigger (figuratively, not literally). Good luck! | ||

Nothing more awkward than you being all hyped up for your 'date' when she's just chilling with one of her friends. Make sure she knows what you're going for - if she doesn't want it she'll tell you, but if she doesn't figure out what you want she's unlikely to take the initiative. | ||

The nervous period you mentioned is good. It means you know you have some feelings for her. Presumably your nervous cause now you know you've got to do something, right? So do something: ask her out. It's a good way to let her know you are interested, and it gives her time to think about whether or not she is interested in you, in case she hasn't thought seriously about it before. | ||
