Don't get me wrong, Dota is damn fun to play, especially with/vs friends. However, 90% of the time one team or another ends up with 2 or more fucktards. What is a fucktard? We could start by defining them as people who go 0-8 by 20 minutes in, which happens a lot for me, or we could say they are the fucktards who, in the midst of a 3v1 gank where their friendly pudge has hooked + dismembered a cm and is now under tower fire, they decide to go run to shop to buy boots... because they need boots.

I haven't played Dota in years. I just got my Dota 2 beta yesterday, so obviously I am very rusty and probably suck gigantic horse cock atm. However, it is quite surprising how much whale cock others can suck. A few things that have happened in my first few games.

1) CM never goes away from the tower. Apparently she would rather play it safe rather than risk being ganked at level 2 as everyone on the opposing team is clearly visible in their lanes.

2) The aforementioned 3v1 gank misery. I pop out from the trees, hook then dismember CM (damn silence from someone prevented insta dismember), so now I'm under tower while rotting. It's ok though, I'm at half health and besides two people are right next to me. Well, they both run off to go shop (bot lane). I thus die. I bitch about it in a one liner - the response: "Dude why did you go in I have to buy boots".

3) 3 people on the opposition suck complete ass and go 0-21 combined for them in a fairly quick manner, was pretty hilarious but sad at the same time.

4) Enigma the feedbot on our team. Actually, he wasn't a bot. But, his modus operandi was to a-move mid all game long. No heroes in sight and you're alone next to their 2nd tower? NP keep chugging along oh shit fuck dead. Goes 1-10 fairly quickly and then has to leave for his puppy is on fire or something silly I'm sure.

5) And the all the generic examples of people feeding like hell on your team.

6) Did you know that Gondar soloing vs two ranged casters can somehow go 8-0 on them in 15 minutes? Without ganks? Fucking incredible right? Well, actually I'm fairly certain that's impossible but it happened anyways.

Ok I need to just do IH and shit now, fuck this blasphemy. 3-5-2 already lol, I tend to leave games pretty quickly if it is clear that the intent is to be absolutely useless and/or feed. I like to not have to play carry every game... but it appears at lower mmr levels that may be exactly what I will have to do, despite my preference being gank/support heroes. After all... the gankers get no support in the non-existent ganks when half the people you play with probably can't break silver in SC2 if their private parts depended on it.

</rant>

p.s. And besides it is more fun to get raped because you are just not good enough rather than your team sucking balls, though granted that creates the above situation for your teammates :D. Faster improvement yo! Fuck this makes me want to 1v1 ladder in SC2...

This is what originally drove me from HoN to SC2 but I gave it another try with DotA2. This time though I started making as many friends as possible. Every time you are in a team with good cooperation, ask them to play again. Slowly build up a big friends list and you'll have lots of good folks to play with all the time.

Also, I won't make assumptions, but judging from the attitude of your rant it sounds like you may be someone who rages at their teammates in game which will only make your teamwork worse. Being friendly and helpful (via mic if available) can turn around many games and help newer players.

Lmfao, I had a good laugh.

Unfortunately, this is true and will only get worse when it comes out for release.

Actually, I've experienced the exact opposite. For whatever cause, the teams I've experienced have tended to be stacked. One side or the other is pretty much the domination side and has at most 1 baddie, while the other team just gets steamrolled. I haven't had any close games so far, just easy win or easy lose.

The MM system in Dota2 is actually quite good, just keep playing and sooner or later you will certainly be playing against evenly skilled opponents, it just takes a few days. Iv been having a blast playing against more or less evenly skilled opponents for several months now. Give it time is my advice

To be honost I would recommend random MM queue with friends over TLIH at the moment, it lacks consistent moderation and has enormous rage issues. I expect it to improve as more people use it though.

I considered saying walrus cock (did you know walruses have big penis bones? That's right, a fucking bone), but then again a multifoot long bone doesn't compare to the ~6 gallon ejaculation of the whale.

When both teams have players like that I try not to complain because if you're really that much better than them you should be like 15-2 without your teams support anyway. If you win enough you'll get matched consistently with better players so don't worry about it. It's more frustrating when their team is coordinated and good and your team isn't and just plays on their own not buying wards/tps.

I didn't realize Dota2 had an MMR system. Every game has just been so easy for me and I was getting pretty bored.

I've never played a MOBA, and this is exactly why I'm scared to.

That only works when I'm playing a carry... which I don't most of the time cause I just prefer other types.

This is definitely the best advice. I always have the most fun in DotA 2 and HoN both when there's more friends playing with me than pubs.

That's weird SEA has a massive Dota scene and everyone is really good. Hell just like how you went to a PCBang and it was full of BW players, 99% of people in our local lans are playing non-stop Dota.

Unless you are only allowed to play on US servers. I guess most of us are stuck with Dota1 anyway until Dota2 is released.

Hmm yea perhaps I should try that out, so I'd imagine I should lag a bit to SEA since I'm east coast US. US just has sooo many shitty players in every game though compared to other regions it seems. Probably because there are more super casuals in the US due to culture and other things...

Oh I just read your country and assumed you were playing on SEA.

There should be an improvement but obviously not a significant one until Dota 2 is actually released. Most dota players here still play in LANs even and not on Bored Aussie (hardcore pub, kinda like ICCUP).

Hopefully though once Dota 2 is released everyone will move to it and also start playing online, the level of play should jump by quite a lot at least on SEA
