It came to me while I was playing Skryim (master difficulty of course). I was using hot keys 1-8 FOR SKYRIM NO WAYS. Yes sir I was. Me and Lydia were Pro-tanking everything (full flawless orcish armor/weapons at lvl 16) (except for when u get bum rushed by ~8 spriggons, you can't heal/shield/attack fast enough, god I hate those) (For any of you caring it was, 1-axe 2-mace 3-bow 4-shield 5-fast heal 6-healing hands 7-unrelenting force 8-flames[for the stupid trap things on the ground]). I was pressing each one when I needed without looking/thinking about what was on the hotkey.

Anyways that was kind of pointless but back on Topic. I was thinking about why the hot keys aren't close together like at all and how you have to move your hand cross the keyboard to hit 8. I fired up SC2 and once I got into the hotkeys options I hit new and Standard template. I thought to myself what hot keys do I always have bound the whole game. 4&5 came to mind. CC and Barracks respectively.

So I clumped some control groups together R is now 1 and T is now 2.

Here is the left over unbound hotkeys. If u read them you'll see none are Terran so I don't care about them.

I put most of the unbound keys that the change caused to F (terran only because idc about protoss/zerg hotkeys LOL). I'll do some testing but R-A-F feels pretty good (its 1a stim). Time to test my heart out and make changes until I feel happy enough to write a [G] on TL about the hotkey setup.


Edit: after a few games I'm wanting to hit F for attack move...Its screwing me up hard as im repeatedly overstimming my marines death. Why must my first attempt at hotkeys come back to screw me over.
