Hello guys! I've written a blog about my MLG Winter Arena experience, it's not very technical as in analysis of games or so, but just about my thoughts on the event in general, the trip there, and New York.
Here's a short extract from it:
"Day 1
I did not have the best of starts in this event. I woke up on the day my flight would leave to Stockholm with a sore throath, an intense headache and fever. To top things off, I had misunderstood how my alarm worked on my new cell phone (got it two days before heading to NY) so it didn't go off, as I had it set to a specific day rather than every day. I woke up 1.5 hours before my flight was set to leave for Stockholm and I hadn't packed my things and I was in need of a shower and something to eat.
I flew up in panic and immediately ordered a cab to arrive 30 minutes from now while I just threw everything that came to mind in a bag and quickly packed up my gear (Keyboard, Mousepad, Mouse, Earphones) and took a quick shower. As I live in Umeå (Northern parts of Sweden) I always have to travel to Stockholm when I'm leaving for international events. I was going to spend one night at my parents house in Stockholm before taking an early 6:30 AM plane heading first to Austria, Vienna and from there to New York City."

all the koreans sat, table number two you had all the europeans +(Sheth and Sundance) and on Table number 3 you had all the Americans (+Socke). Some jokes were tossed around about how we traded in Socke for Sheth because we'd rather have the manner bear Sheth on the European table.
lol, this part is really cute
In retrsospect I have the following things to say; MLG Arena was without a doubt the best event I've ever gone to, looking at it how well they treated their players and how well everything was run
big props to MLG.
thanks for sharing your experiences merz

Very cool and enjoyable writeup! Enjoyed the pictures! This + Catz's blog on MLG Winter Arena are great pieces for those who want to see what it's like in the shoes of a pro gamer. Thanks for taking the time to write it all out!

Very well written, quite interesting. Thanks a lot and I hope you'll keep up the good work.

I don't mean to be rude, but why can't you post the whole thing here? As it stands this is just an advertisement for your blog.
Copy paste the whole thing here and if I, like others, enjoy it we may follow your full blog. But shamelessly advertising it this way does not in anyway entice me to read more of your blogs.

Very nice write-up! Enjoyed reading it, thx for sharing your experiences there!

After some nice burgers we finally went to bed at around 10 PM, worth mentioning is that MLG had gotten all of us our own hotel rooms, so no one was sharing with anyone, which was really nice of them!
whats with the "", epic evening?

Great read can't wait to see you get a big win this year ^^

I'm sorry you feel this way but maybe if you took the time at looking at my previous TL Blogs you'd see that I've written all of them in full here at teamliquid. This time I felt like I wanted to help out my team so I wrote it at our website for this one. Yes it's advertising my blog that's why I put it up as a blog here rather than making a self-advertisement thread in let's say SC2 General.

Awesome blog, it was very nice to read. (I am glad to give Dignitas some hits, due to the fact they always have someone at MLG events).
Hope you make it to the rest of the events!
