So I go to the store to get some acne soap as I'm out and see they have none of my plain scentless boring stuff. In its place all I see are fancy scented ones made by the same company. So I say to my self "It'll be fine it's just the same thing" .

Now my acne isn't to bad just a little bit on the face and some on my back. But I have some close cousins weddings coming up so I wanted to clean up a bit and what not.

STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE.

4 hours after using it my entire face is peeling along with my back.... I swear if this doesn't get rid of the acne I'm going to be so mad. I put some lotion on and it helped a bit but I'm finding lying in bed trying to fall asleep and not scratching a challenge..sooooo I'm writting this trying to decide what I should do.

any advice on getting skin to heal faster would be much appreciated. or making it stop itch so its easier to sleep.

its peeling? that seems like a serious allergic reaction to the soap. its probably dermatitis, and here is some information:

this seems like a thing I would have noticed I had I think its just something in the soap.

But if it doesn't calm down soon I'll start looking into this more.

ahhh yeah I'm going to go walk to the store and buy this now this is prbly exactly what I need.

but hmm maybe I should wait and stop by a redicare or something since this is new to me I guess playing it safe can't hurt,

I'd call a doctor, all your skin on your face peeling can't be good.

Offtopic, this thread title reminded me of this time my GF bought be some soap when mine was out and when I went to wash my ass I realized that the soap was an "exfoliant" which basically means they put rocks in that shit, and I couldn't walk right for the better part of 2 days.

You could also get an aloe vera plant. That way you never have to buy the stuff ever again. It's a cactus so that means it's really easy to take care of. They're like $10 at the home depot.
