My life is insanely unpredictable nowadays... My wife wanted to leave me a few weeks ago... Reasons? Well the reason was because there was a lack of "passion" and "romanticism". And she claimed that none of it was my fault, it all fell on her. Obviously, I suspected cheating... That came to no avail, so then I started disecting the past two years of our lives. She taught in an all black ghetto school for a year, and then went immediately in to her graduate program (Applied Mathematics)... Where she is getting no more than four or five hours of sleep per night... I notioned that she is probably depressed... A bit of background information: She has one friend, anytime that she goes out she gets drunk, when she gets drunk she gets insanely pretentious and snobbery ensues. I love her to death, don't get me wrong... But she really, really, really, has no friends. I on the otherhand have a good amount of friends, and I go out with them on a weekly occasion. Either way, it boils down to her (In my opinion) being completely depressed. So I chalked up her wanting to leave me to that.
Basically, since online poker went down & my marriage... I've had to pursue different avenues in life. Which is fucking great, and awesome. However, I've never held a real job in my life, I was pursuing an English degree @ UNC-Wilmington. IIIIIIII really fucked that up... Basically due to me being an alcoholic, and a notorious procrastinator. Anyway, I was sustaining a respectable living playing poker and then... Black Friday happened!! (GASP) I then began my pursuit of a degree geared towards the IT department, shocker... For money i decided to join forces with my tribes casino... Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Resort. I am optimistic of my future there, mainly because of my 01 status (If you're Cherokee you are a shoe-in), I moseyed along for my initial 3 months (3 months before you can transfer to any department)... Now I've transferred over to Table Games Host... Basically, a dealer. I'm absolutely stoked at this opportunity. They pay minimum 22-25 bucks an hour to 35-50 bucks an hour (depending on volume). And, at the same time I'm still pursuing my degree... Also pulling a 51% win ratio in mid masters... (yeah, make fun you pompous bastards! lol, but for a guy who plays once, maybe twice a week, FU!)
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this blog... I guess it's one of those type of things that a person just has to get out every once in a while. I guess I'm also excited about my new position (it came off as a brag, my bad...)... But fuck dude... I just needed to get some shit out. Go ahead and label this a 1 out of 5. I really don't care. I feel like a 10 star out of 5 just for getting my feelings out.
