EPTI'm recording more thoughts on my life due to the fact that I need to express them and I doubt that anyone I know in real life will see this.
1. Studying
I feel like a slacker lately. Mainly due to senioritis but when it comes to Acadec, I can't bring myself to study. Instead I'm playing SC2 when I should be studying hardcore for state.
But then when I do, it's interesting. I'm starting to actually figure out how to study. For example, music. Initially I thought music would help me, as I keep a pace etc. However, I tried it after an hour of music, and I felt like I could focus and remember more. =D Just small things here and there that were interesting to me.
2. Starcraft II
I'm getting frustrated as a zerg. I'm getting tired of being unable to defend against all-ins or playing different styles. Here are pretty much what I do every time:
ZvZ: Roach/Infestor Macro Game
ZvT: Standard Ling/Bling/Muta
ZvP: Roach-Ling all-in (Yeah, I Know =(...)
So today, I thought I would try something different. Today, I tried different styles. I attempted a +1 Roach Timing attack that got shut down by a baneling bust...
Ling/Roach/Bling didnt work so well for me versus a Terran
I can't play a macro game against a Forge FE to save my life.
Worst part is, being in plat, I don't really have anyone that I can practice with. And I'm starting to get bored by the lone styles of playing.
For a while now, I've toyed around with the idea of just going down to the store and buying another SCII key and starting a protoss account. Just to have a fresh start and learn a new race.
So, should I persevere and keep playing Zerg or should I switch to Toss?
