Hello Liquidians,

So I have recently ordered from a website called Lizard Lick Amusements. This thread is to tell how TERRIBLE my experience with them has been so far.

I ordered 8 buttons for my Madcatz TE Arcade stick (6 buttons and 2 button plugs) for the arcade stick I am currently building. I ordered these items on 12/25/2011, Christmas.

Now before I ordered the buttons I knew they were out of stock. There is a legend on the website that says how long it will take them to get the buttons before they can ship them to you when this is the case. Below

According to this legend my Sanwa buttons should take 5-10 business days before they are obtained by LizardLick and then shipped to me. I was fine with this.

After my order was completed on the 25th I got an email saying my order was recieved successfully and the items were currently being ordered along with contact information for their sales team and an email to contact.

I have called this number a minimum of 15 times, sent at least 10 emails and I have still heard nothing back even though we are approaching the 3 week mark.

I have received nothing,no updates, no missed calls, no texts, no email NOTHING.

What should I do? I can't find any information on the website about cancelling my order and I am not getting any customer service.

I can go down to the local arcade and just buy buttons even though they are slightly more expensive but at least I will have them and be able to complete my project.

My only advice is next time check twitter/facebook pages to make sure they are active.. last twitter post was 9 months ago, this would have been a red flag for me.

I have purchased from them on 3 separate occasions, stuff was shipped in nice packaging and in a timely manner.
All of my friends also order from them in on a regular basis, 1 of them builds sticks for sale.

Seems like your problem right now is only a delay in shipping, if you can't contact them with any of those means, only thing you can do is wait I guess?

8 buttons is like $16 anyways, not a lot of money to freak out over.

Pretty sure it has to do with you ordering them on Christmas. Not that it's a good excuse, but it's my likely guess.

To the other posters (on mobile TL ap currently) I also know people that have ordered from them and received decent service. I'm pissed because I've contacted them in so many ways and literally gotten zero feedback. It's very unprofessional. My order was $30 not 16

Ten business days would have mean that it was shipped this Monday? Doesn't seem like that much of a delay to me tbh.

Maybe not, but his attempts and trying to reach them says a lot about their [lack of] customer service.

Yea so I checked their facebook and apparently there are a TON of people having the same issues as me. One guy has been waiting since October for his order :/. I have very little faith that I will be receiving this order anytime soon if at all.

You probably know this already, but if you paid by credit card, you can call your bank and do a chargeback. Just explain that merchandise hasn't been delivered, and you haven't been able to contact the company to cancel your order, and you should be fine.

This is why I stick to ordering from the main sites like Amazon and New Egg. I've known several people who order from these types of sites, things usually go great. Until their is a problem with an order or a billing issue. Then it's usually a pain in the ass to deal with their customer service or get the bill corrected. I get the feeling that sites like these are often run out of someone's garage or basement.

My advice stick to major shopping sites or order direct from the manufacturer. In regards to the current order, I think munchmunch has the best advice.

well if you paid by credit card. call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

I would go contact them through SRK or on techtalk (I think LL has a thread there). Never used them myself, but they'd be most worried about bad press on SRK and I know they're active there.

This is a fantastic idea, I don't know why I didn't of it. I hate using other forums because TL is just so much easier to use/ run so much better. The internet has so much trash.
