Hello there, TL members and random forumgoers (hope I got that last one right)! My name is Alex and I am a 19 russian guy who dreams (just like many of you, I am sure) of being a Starcraft 2 progamer.

The thing is, I am stuck in bronze for about 3 months already, and, to be honest, I probably belong there. Despite knowing the basics (scout, spend resources, expand, etc) I still tend to make silly mistakes every now and then. Ladder anxiety kills me too, when your hands are shaking it's a bit difficult to play properly. I do not lose hope though, watching replays and casts keeps me motivated to try more.

But anyway I am here to improve and share my experience with you in this blog. I will stream my games most likely so if you ever get tired of watching pros (wait, how's that even possible?) come say hi and hang out with a somewhat terrible starcraft noobie.

Starcraft was my first RTS game and I started in bronze too. I am now in masters, I also spent maybe 3 months in bronze, then shot up DRAMATICALLY in a very short time.

Starcraft is an epiphany driven learning experience, I think I made a blog post of my ladder history somewhere, PM me if you want a link.

Same, sc2 was my first RTS game, I was bronze for probably a good 3-6 months, but then when I "got" the game, I shot up to top masters, so dont worry, just keep playing.

Oh, I've just read your blog, got some nice info and I must say good job at getting into masters league! Now I have one more person to look up to, thanks!

Alright, I sure will! It's just that a friend of mine told me how he got to silver from bronze in 2 months, so whenever I remembered that it's more than 2 months of playing for me now and I am still in bronze I got demotivated and somewhat disappointed. But that was just my jealousy acting up and now I got rid of it.
