So first and formost let me expain to you the reason I am starting this blog. My best friend and I have a running bet on who can make it to masters first. So while we both practice and train to get there, I decided it would be a good idea to list out my games and what I need to work on. But lets talk about this bet. The loser of the bet has to buy a competitors pass for the other player to play at an MLG event. So obviously there is a great reward with winning this bet. I really hope that over the next year you guys enjoy my blogs. I'm going to try to do one every day.
January 3:

PvT Notes:
All these terrans one based. Early rushed with marines, marauders. I went 3 gate expand with blink stalkers. Won 2 out of the 3 games. Last game was a base trade. Could have won if microed better and got a void ray. Need to work on stress skills.
PvP Notes:
Both times I went 4 gate robo. One was on Tal'darm alter so, it was a counter four gate. Need to work on builds more. Felt really choppy. Got placed in gold!

Other Notes:
Expos where put up at a good time.
Need to work on feeling confident enough to Forge fast expand on season 5 ladder maps. An early economic lead will easily win me a bunch of games.
Scouting
Need to scout for hidden expos. If I had time to take a hidden one, then the opponent had time. Must keep watch!
Builds, builds, and more builds
Need to refine my builds more! Got supply blocked, several times. Should look to see if there are any other pro play styles I like.

Congratz on getting into gold! It must feel good. I hope to see you in the MLG one day, will your friend be tracking his progress as well? Good luck in your road to masters!

Not sure if he will, I have been trying to talk him into doing it. But if he doesn't i'll keep you guys posted on whats new with him.

If you want any practice I'll be willing to practice with you once in a while (I play terran but I can offrace if you'd like).
